Harry's POV
Suddenly there was solid ground beneath my feet as we apparated into a dark corridor of Malfoy Manor. My head span as I readjusted to being able to stand again as Draco just looked around, checking nobody was there to see our arrival.
"We better get moving quick, we need to find them before Bellatrix or a Death Eater does." I said, quietly. Draco nodded his agreement. "Well you're going to have to help me out here Draco, this is your house and your mother we're looking for. Where would she go?"
"She could possibly be in the garden, she might have thought it would be the safest place as there would be nobody out there." Draco responded.
"Then what are we waiting for? Lead the way." I said. He obliged, leading me down the darkened corridor at a slow pace looking round every corner before we went around them. We finally reached a glass door through which I could see the perfectly manicured garden. He pushed it open and walked through, I followed and shut it behind me so that nobody would know we had been here. "I think I should have asked this earlier but how big is your garden?" I asked, looking at the large expanse of grass and bushes and trees and paths that were in front of me.
"I'm not sure of the exact size but let's just say it could take a while to find my mother." He said, I felt like hitting my head of a wall of course they had a massive garden and searching it all would waste the little time we had.
"Okay well we better get moving and quickly, we don't have all day." I said, he nodded and began walking down the paths, I looked up to see a flash of platinum blonde hair through a tree ahead. "Draco." I said, he paused. "I think I saw her up ahead." I sped up towards the tree and as I walked around it, I almost crashed into Narcissa. Draco sighed with relief behind me. I saw she was cradling Willow and released a sigh of relief I didn't know I was holding.
"Mother, I'm glad you're safe." Draco said. "Have you seen Ron or Sirius or Remus?"
"No, why? Should I have?" Narcissa asked.
"They must still be inside then Draco, we've got to find them before anything happens to them." I said.
"They can hold their own for a while, we need to get Willow back to Hermione." Draco replied. "Actually you two wait here, I'll apparate her back to the house and come back." Narcissa carefully passed her into Draco's arms. He held her as though he was scared he might break her I had to resist the urge to smile at his gentleness. Then he was gone and I was stood there with his mother in the middle of their field of a back garden. I just looked around at the large expanse of garden rather than bothering to try make conversation with Narcissa as I had a very strong idea we had very little in common. I felt her eyes on me, probably because she had never seen the famous 'The Boy Who Lived' Harry Potter in person before. But I was glad she also didn't try to speak to me, I much preferred the awkward silence to the possibility of an even more awkward conversation.
Then Draco appeared beside us again.
"Mother it will probably be safer if you stay out here while we try find the others." He said, she nodded but just as he went to turn away she pulled him into a tight hug.
"Stay safe, Draco." She said, I thought I could see tears in her eyes so I turned away not wanting to intrude on a moment between mother and son. I heard him mutter something to her and then he was stood beside me.
"Alright let's go find them then." I said, walking towards the house determined to find them and get out of here as quickly as possible as each extra second we stayed here the more dangerous it was but I had no idea where they were. They weren't in the hall or else Dobby would have seen them so either they were walking around the Manor somewhere or the worse option, Voldemort had got his hands on them which would be a far more difficult situation to deal with. We entered through the door we had came out of. "We have no idea where they could be. So where should we start considering you know the layout of the house?" I asked.
"The best option may just be to wander the halls until we find them or any trace of them." He answered.
"Well that will take far too long but if that's our only option, it would be best to start as close to the hall as we can get." I said. He began leading the way down corridors the same way we had before, slowly and quietly until we got to corridors I recognised. A door opened along the hall and we both jumped into one of the many shadows along the hall. As though we were looked upon by fate it was Ron's ginger head that stuck out the door.
"They will come back and find us, I'm sure they will." I heard him say.
"It's your lucky day." I said, walking out of the shadows, his head whipped round eyes wide with surprise.
"Oh, Harry you're here. When Dobby took everyone else we were nearly trapped in the hall we managed to sneak out here when Remus set one of the curtains on fire." He said, walking out of the room. Remus and Sirius behind him.
"Well at least you're all safe, we need to get out of here though before someone comes down here." I said. "Draco are you ready to apparate?" He nodded, I took his and Ron's hands. Then we all apparated back to Grimmauld Place.
