Harry's POV

I hated myself for leaving Ginny behind but the men had the upper hand, I would get her back though whatever it would take. I didn't risk looking back as I ran to where we had left our brooms. I jumped on mine, grabbed hers from the ground and took off. I felt the wind whip past my face as I tried to get back to Grimmauld Place as fast as I could, we needed to gather a plan, we couldn't just sit around waiting for Draco to work everything out for us. Then I remembered to double check my pocket where I had shoved the locket as I ran, it was still there, that was one small victory. As I finally passed through the fog that surrounded that horrible house, I saw the sun glint off of something shiny below me. I glided down to the ground my curiosity getting the better of me, to see something metal discarded in a bush. I dropped the brooms and pulled out my wand then edged closer, there was nothing nearby to work out where was it from. I reached the bush and stifled a gasp as I saw through the branches, the sword of Godric Gryffindor. I was so lost as to what it was doing in a field in  the middle of nowhere, unless someone knew I would come here searching for the locket. I shoved my wand back into my pocket and pulled the sword from the bush. Grabbing Ginny's broom in the same hand, I jumped onto my broom and headed back to Grimmauld Place. My glasses protected my eyes from the wind but the rest of my face was uncovered and I could feel it turning red from the relentless wind whipping past. It sent my hair flying this way and that, making it even messier than usual.

I finally reached the outskirts of London using clouds as cover from the people milling about below but then as it was a bright day the number of clouds was steadily decreasing so carefully letting go of my broom and pulling out my wand I cast the disillusionment charm over me and my broom. Then I steadily got closer and closer to the ground, as I reached the house. I touched down onto the ground at the bottom of the steps and I undid Hermione's charm on the house before pulling open the door. I also removed my disillusionment charm, I heard Hermione approach with Ron in tow. I heard Hermione murmur to herself as she replaced the charm upon the house before turning to me. Ron's face had gone stark-white.

"Where's Ginny?" Ron said, his voice so much quieter than it normally was. I looked away from Ron and saw Hermione watching me, also waiting for an answer.

"We went looking for the locket and there were Death Eaters waiting, she got taken." I said, unable to look Ron in the eye as I hadn't been able to protect his little sister.

"How could you let that happen? You were meant to look after her, because I wasn't there." Ron said, I could tell that he was barely containing his anger.

"I'm sorry, we split up to search so it would be quicker, the house was dark so we thought that there was no one there." I said. "But I did manage to get the locket," I pulled it out of my pocket to show them, Hermione took it from me to examine it. "I also found this in a field." I held up the sword of Gryffindor. Ron's eyes widened and Hermione gasped.

"That should be at Hogwarts stored away." Hermione said.

"I think it must have been left there, someone must have known we were going looking for the locket maybe it will help us destroy it." I said. "But first, we need to get Ginny, Sirius and Willow back." Ron nodded but Hermione looked unsure.

"But, Draco hasn't come back yet." Hermione said.

"We don't have time to wait. Who knows what Voldemort will do to them, while we sit her and wait." I said, she paused for a moment.

"Alright then, let's put together a plan and contact whoever we can to help as there's not much hope of sneaking in, we have to make sure we are just as powerful as the Death Eaters." She said.

Draco's POV

I followed my mother through the halls until we were alone, just down the corridor from her room. She turned to me, her pale hair shining under the lights.

"She will be here in my room, all night. I won't let her be taken anywhere, so when you go-" She held up her hand as I opened my mouth to speak. "Don't try and deny what you are planning, I know. Just make sure that you stay safe because these people won't hesitate to kill you when they know you're helping them." I nodded my agreement. "Go do what you need to do, I'll be here." I could have hugged her for how much she was helping me but I instead said to her.

"Thank you, you don't understand how grateful I am for you doing this." She just nodded, as she walked into her room. I turned and began to head back downstairs but I stopped dead when I heard shouts from downstairs, one belonging to a girl who shouldn't be here but with Potter and her brother. I walked as quickly as I could while trying to seem not bothered by whatever was happening downstairs. I finally reached the stairs and I had to restrain from taking them two at a time. I knew that the commotion was coming from the basement so that's where I headed, along with quite a few other Death Eaters. I kept pace with them, trying to remain nonchalant but I had to stop myself from gasping when I saw Ginny struggling against two men I vaguely recognised, her face bloody and bruises forming on her arms where the men had obviously been gripping her too hard to stop her from getting free. She suddenly looked up and her eyes locked with mine.
