Hermione's POV

"We need to go and find them right now!" I said, trying to hold in my panic.

"There's nothing we can do at this time of night, Hermione." Harry said, I turned to glare at him, sat there in his bed.

"He's right, Hermione." Draco said, I turned to him. His eyes were filled with concern. "You need to sleep and we can find them in the morning when we're all well rested, then we will be able to think more clearly."

"How am I going to sleep when my baby has been taken?" I said, trying to control my annoyance at their stupidity.

"Come on, you're tired. We can find them in the morning." Draco said, I knew there was no point in arguing against what was a valid point. So I let him take my arm and lead me through to my room. He stood facing the wall while I changed, I told him there was no need to but he didn't listen to me. Then he took off his jacket and as I slipped under the covers, he laid on top of them beside me.

"You know you can change and get under the covers." I said, looking to him beside me.

"I don't have any clothes to change into." He said.

"Just get into your underwear, I won't judge you." I said, with a laugh. He blushed before standing up. He unbuttoned his shirt putting it on the floor with his jacket then his trousers. He then slipped under the covers. "See, was that such a problem?"

"No, but I would have been more comfortable staying in my clothes but it's fine." He said, turning to me with a smile. "Anyway, Hermione you need to sleep." I grumbled at him but I curled up towards Draco, trying to get comfortable. He was still lying flat on his back, not moving. I watched for a minute as his chest rose and fell as he breathed. My eyelids fluttered closed, though I wished they would stay open so I could carry on watching Draco acting so strange.

Sunlight streamed through the long windows, the dark, thick curtains pushed to the side. I rolled over to face away from the window, I expected Draco to have gone, to be up already. But I was wrong. He was still lying asleep beside me, long black eyelashes against his pale skin. Why do some boys have the prettiest eyelashes? His chest rose and fell, slowly. He seemed so still, so calm, so unlike what he was like when he was awake. His eyes began to open, I went to turn over so he wouldn't know I was watching then I realised, I didn't care if he saw me watching.

"It's a bit creepy to watch people while they sleep, you know Hermione?" Draco murmured, the corners of his lips pulling up in a smirk. I swatted at him, which he deftly rolled away from.

"You're so much nicer when you are sleeping, you know Draco?" I said, matching his smirk. He chuckled at me. I could stay here in this moment for ages but I knew there was stuff we had to get done. I went to roll away, but Draco caught me before I could. He rolled me back towards him so that I was facing him again. It was an unusual occurrence that my eyes were level with his, normally I found myself looking at his nose. I had nothing against his nose but it was nice for once to look into his grey eyes, that looked almost silver in the early morning light.

"Do you think you can get away from me that easy?" He said, with a smirk. Wrapping his arms around my waist. I rolled my eyes, fighting the urge to smile. He studied my face, his grey eyes looking into my brown ones. I could get lost in his eyes, they were so beautiful like the metal they reminded me of. So much nicer than my brown ones, who ever found brown eyes beautiful?
"Your eyes are so beautiful." He said, as though he had read my mind. "They're so deep and soft like there is so much more to you, that no-one knows and nobody ever will know."

"Flattery will get you nowhere, Draco." I said, with a small laugh.

"Ah, but a man can try. Or at least I will anyway." He replied, smirking at me.

"Anyway, was there a reason why you didn't let me get up when we've got stuff to do?" I asked, getting back to business at hand.

"Just try not to worry too much, we'll find her. Together we will be able to." He answered.

"Are you coming with us?" I said, shocked. I would have thought that he would need to go back to Malfoy Manor. "Won't they notice how long you've been gone?"

"Let them notice, they'll realise that I'm with you soon enough. If anything I want them to realise because I don't want to leave you again." He said, pulling me closer. I let him with a smile, that was all I needed to hear, I didn't want him to have to leave again.

"Thank you, Draco." I said. "Now we need to get up." He nodded but before he let me go, he planted a quick kiss on my lips. I smiled as he withdrew his arm so that I could roll away to the edge of the bed. I stood up and I notice him roll over so that he is facing the other wall as I change. I fight the urge to laugh, ever the gentleman. "You don't need to do that you know, I don't mind you seeing but either way I'm changed now." He also gets out of the bed and stands turning to face me.

"I like to give you your privacy." He responded, as he pulled on his clothes. Although they were the same clothes as yesterday and that they spent the night folded on the floor, they are smooth, not a crease in sight. I would ask how he managed to keep them so smooth but I doubted the answer was that interesting. Probably some simple charm. I pulled open the bedroom door to see Harry and Ginny leaving their room too. Harry didn't notice me at first but Ginny did.

"Hi, Hermione. Are you okay? Did you sleep?" She asked, as she eyed me with concern. I understand it comes from a good place but I find it hard to not be annoyed by it.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I slept pretty much straight away, must have been tired." I said. She nodded, pleased with that response. "Anyway, we've got work to do."
