Draco's POV
I woke up to sunlight shining into my eyes. I blinked multiple times to adjust to the light, it was spilling into the room through the curtains which were open wide and the windows were thrown open as well which allowed in a breeze which ruffled the curtains and wafted past my face. I looked down to see I was still dressed in what I had been wearing yesterday, my suit that at this point really needed a wash or I could just buy a new one. I looked to the clock on the bedside table beside me, 9 o'clock. I had to suppress a groan, I didn't have a clue what day it was but that was still to early. I rolled over to go back to sleep to see Hermione was gone, her clothes from yesterday neatly piled on the armchair. That made me want to change even more, I wish I had brought some clothes with me. I could ask Harry we were about the same height but that could wait, something I wanted more than that was a shower then something to eat and then I would find where Hermione was. I headed to the bathroom and tried the door, it creaked as it opened.
It was a bit grimy as it probably hadn't been cleaned in a few years as I couldn't see Sirius doing it and Kreacher was one of the most useless house elves I had ever come across he just wandered round the house constantly moaning and grumbling while holding a duster for no particular reason. I locked the door and picked up one of multiple towels piled in the corner, then I realised I had no idea how to work the shower but it couldn't be that hard to work out. I turned the first knob I came across and it sputtered to life. I jumped in and washed as quickly as I could with the first shower gel I could grab, I had no idea who it belonged to and just hoped they wouldn't mind. Then I turned the shower off, dried and got back into my same old suit. Unlocking the door I headed out into the landing to find it empty, where was everyone else? Snoring came from Harry and Ginny's room so that answered that question. I headed downstairs there was some quiet chatter from the kitchen. I pushed the door open to find Hermione sat at the table along with Sirius and an assortment of Weasleys. Hermione turned around as the door shut behind me. She was in an oversized burgundy jumper and dark wash jeans.
"Oh Draco, did I wake you? I didn't mean to." She said.
"No, I don't think so. I just woke up." I replied. Sirius didn't seem best pleased to see me but then again I didn't expect him to be, even though we were family. Mrs Weasley stood up suddenly.
"Do you want some breakfast, Draco?" Mrs Weasley said, I noticed they all had plates or bowls in front of them, the food partially eaten.
"Uh yes please." I responded. She nodded going to the cupboard and pulling out a plate.
"You just take a seat, I'll get you some toast. Do you want anything on it?" She asked.
"No thanks, just butter." I said, taking a seat beside Hermione. She just glanced at me before going back to her cereal. It was Fred that looked at me and I was waiting for him to make some joke but he just went back to his toast as well. Then Molly came and placed my toast in front of me. "Thank you." I said, she then went and sat back down. I had just began eating my toast when Harry came in his hair damp and sticking to his face so he had obviously just come out the shower. He was in a hoodie and jeans. He began getting himself something to eat filling the kitchen with noise as he rattled packets and clanged bowls.
"Could you be any louder Harry?" Fred said, with a smirk.
"Well I could if I tried." He said as he began dropping the box of cereal onto the counter with great emphasis. He did this for many minutes, so many that I had finished my toast and he still hadn't finished. Ginny came into the kitchen, her ginger hair pulled back into a messy bun. She wore a large t-shirt that I vaguely recognised as Harry's over jogging bottoms.
"And you try and say you're not over dramatic, Harry?" Ginny said with a smile as she entered.
"I have no idea what you mean Ginny, is this not how you make your cereal in the morning? It's part of my daily routine." He said with a grin. He finally set the box down and came to sit at the table by me. "You look like you could do with some new clothes there Draco. You can borrow some of mine if you want, you know where my bedroom is."
"I will have to take you up on that, I have been in this suit for days." I responded. He just nodded and went back to his cereal. I stood and put my plate on the stack by the sink and headed upstairs. I went into Harry and Ginny's shared room and went to the wardrobe, there definitely wouldn't be any suits but I was sure there was something I could wear. I pulled out a t-shirt, hoodie and a pair of jeans that I hoped would fit me. I went in to my own room and changed, I glanced into a mirror. It looked halfway decent and would do until I could go buy myself some of my own clothes. I headed back to the kitchen. "What's the way to the high street? I need to go get some new clothes." I asked. Hermione suddenly stood up.
"I'll take you." She said. "I want to get out of this house." She walked past me. "I'll go get some shoes." I didn't have chance to say a word before she had left the kitchen.
