Ginny's POV

Hermione and Draco had apparated from the house without saying a word to anyone, so no-one knew where they had gone but it was nearly Valentine's Day so I presumed that they went out somewhere together to celebrate. I was sat in the living room, reading a book about Quidditch when Harry appeared at the door. "Ginny, how's your reading?" He asked. I doubted he was really interested, he definitely wanted something.

"You know, Harry, it's actually going really great. This book is so interesting and I'm really enjoying it." I said, I could carry on rambling to see how much Harry would endure but I decided to be kind. "Why, did you want something?" I asked. Harry stepped further into the room.

"Well, Draco and Hermione have gone out and with Ron skulking about, we get no real alone time." He started, I looked at him with concern, where was he going with this?

"We can't leave, you would be noticed straight away, it's too much of a risk. And he's skulking, he's not exactly in the way of us having alone time." I responded. "Anyway, you can't apparate and neither can I, so how would we go anywhere?"

"Well, I was brought up as a muggle and am quite accustomed to muggle transport, we will get the bus. And we will go somewhere we won't be known, I know the perfect place." He responded, I put the book down.

"The bus? What is that?" I asked, confused about what he was talking about.

"It's like a big box that moves and takes you places. All you have to do is get on it and pay, then you can get off when you get to where you need to be." He explained.

"Alright, let me get changed, I can't go outside like this." I said, standing up. I looked down at my baggy trousers, loose-fitting top and fluffy slippers. He laughed at me, I shot him a glare. I slipped past him through the door and went upstairs to the room I shared with Harry. I closed the door behind me before moving to the wardrobe. I didn't have many clothes, or any that were very presentable. But I noticed the one dress I had, hidden amongst the other clothes hanging there. It was a pale green slip dress that complimented my eyes, about knee-length and with a small slit. I changed then pulled on a pair of black flats. I grabbed my grey coat but stopped in front of the mirror to pull a brush through my hair, deciding I looked presentable enough. I pulled open the bedroom door and went back down the stairs to where Harry was stood in his jeans and dark grey hoodie. "I'm ready to go." He turned, his eyes landing on my dress with surprise.

"That dress is beautiful," He said, stepping closer. "You should wear it more often." I smirked, I had an idea that he would like the dress.

"Try to keep yourself away, until we get wherever we're going, and are you actually going to tell me where that is exactly?" I asked. He shook his head with a smile.

"That would ruin the surprise." He replied, then he took my hand in his and led me to the door. "Ron, me and Ginny are just going out. See you later!" He shouted up the stairs, there was no response. Before opening the door, he tugged his hood over his head. "Better to be safe than sorry." He said, with a grin. I pulled the door shut behind us with a click.

"Where do we get a bus from?" I asked, looking up and down the pretty much deserted road.

"There's a stop down the road from here." He said, turning left at the bottom of the steps. I let him lead me down the road, until we reached one where cars were going up and down endlessly, a couple metres away there was a white stick on the pavement with a sign at the top. "There it is." He looked to the right. "Oh and there's the bus." I looked to my right and saw the red box, that I presumed was what Harry called a bus, drawing up beside us. The doors slid open, Harry murmured something to the driver and dropped some coins into a slot. The bus was pretty empty, there was an old woman sat at the front and some teenagers sat at the back. One boy looked me up and down, I held myself back from hexing him. We sat to the left, I looked out the window at the surroundings passing by, I had no idea where we were as the surroundings were constantly changing. Eventually Harry turned to me, this was our stop. We stood and I followed him off the bus, looking around we were on a high street, filled with shops, cafes and restaurants. The sun was getting lower in the sky, so the sky was going different shades of pink and purple.

"So where are we going?" I asked, seeing if there was anything here that I recognised.

"This way." Harry said, with yet another smirk on his face. He led me to a red door in between two shops. He let go of my hand, he pulled out a key and once he unlocked the door, he pushed it open revealing a staircase lit by fairy-lights hung along the wall, I gasped.

"Harry, it's so pretty." I said.

"That's not all." He said taking my hand in his again and leading me through the door, I shut it behind me, which blocked out all the sunlight. We walked up two flights of stairs, then there was a ladder with an open hatch above it that looked out to the sky. Harry let me climb up first. I looked around me seeing all the streetlights flickering on as the sky fell darker. I then looked around at the roof, fairy-lights hung around the edge and a small chequered blanket in the centre, with a small basket on top. I sat down on the blanket with Harry, he pulled a cake out of the basket, I recognised the smell straight away.

"Is that my mum's?" I asked.

"Yes, I sent her an owl." He said, with a smile.

"Oh, Harry that's so sweet." I said, I looked up to his face. He was watching me, his green eyes were clear. He lent closer to me as I also lent into him. My hand drifted to his messy black hair, his arm went around my back. I looked into his eyes and then his mouth was on mine, I always felt so light whenever I kissed Harry, and the connection between us, we were so young but yet I loved him so much.
