Chapter 29

Henry Wottsman was sitting in his jail cell. He didn't know when he was going to be released. He thought of Neal Bartron and how he was getting the fairy's powers. It wasn't fair. He banged his fists against the walls. He was supposed to get her to join them. He was the one that should be feared. Not Neal, not anyone else. He pictured the fairy joining Neal and removing all vampires. Wait. He thought. He lover is a vampire. She'd never join them. She would have to be forced. Neal had probably thought of that too.

"Mr. Wottsman." An officer called. Henry rose from his prison bed and went to see him.

"What is it?"

"Someone generously paid your bail. You're free to go." The policeman opened his cell and stepped aside. He walked out of the jail. A smile appeared on his face. He knew where to go.

He was going after the fairy.
