Epilogue
I opened my eyes and everything was dark. Memories flooded into my mind. The band door being locked. Kendall's face when someone grabbed me. His pleading cries to let me go. And then darkness. Fear consumed me. Who kidnapped me? What did they want? Footsteps clamored in the room. I shot up and prepared to defend myself, but I couldn't even stand. I prepared myself for the worst. The footsteps grew closer. I shrank back against the wall. I was terrified of whoever was coming towards me. The footsteps stopped.
"Vivian Donaldson, together we will rule the supernatural world." A man whispered so low I couldn't tell who it was.
I summoned up all the courage in me. "How?"
"By destroying the predators." He paused. "By destroying all the vampires."
"You want me to kill vampires?" I asked.
"Just one. Kendall Sparks."
