SIXTEEN

We all enter Connor's room.

Connor is lying on the hospital bed with his eyes closed.

"Why isn't his parents here?" Ally asks Lauren.

"They are delayed back in Toronto" She responded as all of us just looked at Connor.

We bumped into the doctor on the way here and he said that there is a greater chance of Connor remembering things.

To be honest i'll be so happy if he remembers me, I just don't express how I feel because I don't want to get my chances up.

I made a promise to myself that if Connor does remember me that he will be the guy I will be with for the rest of my life.

I truly believe that Connor is the one, I already lost him once and I don't want to loose him again.

"I guess we are going to be here the whole night" Mitch says taking a seat on one of the chairs.

"What are you doing?" William asks him as Mitch grabs another chair.

"I'm taking a nap, i'm still exhausted from the prank from earlier" Mitch said as he pulls his hood up and relaxes.

"Hey" Lauren stands next to me as she attempts to make a conversation.

"Hey" I respond.

We both just stood there in silence with all of us just hearing the sounds of the heart monitor.

"Well we should get some rest" I said as I took a seat on the sofa they had in this room.

I patted next to me so Lauren can sit next to me.

"Thanks for everything" I said to her.

"Hey no problem for a friend" she said as we both grinned at each other.

That was the last thing I remember before falling asleep.

What the hell was happening??

Why is everything black??

Am I dead??

All I can hear is the beeping of the machine next to me and the sound of someone snoring.

That snore was too familiar, it was Mitch's.

Where am I??

I slowly open my eyes but everything is blurry.

I want to scream and yell but I can't.

I feel like this is it for me.

I'm dying.

God please don't let this happen.

I open my eyes again to see a bright light shinning on me.

"Gosh trying to blind me" I speak out.

"He's awake!!" The doctor says as I sit up.

I see Ally and William waking up first with Ally shaking Mitch to wake up.

"Mitch wake up!!" Ally says as Mitch slowly opens his eyes.

He looks at me before jumping up and hugging me.

"Connor you're awake!!" He exclaims.

"Yeah what happened?" I ask him.

"You lost your memory"

I turn my head to see Lauren standing up.

"What is she doing here?" I ask them.

"She was the one who brought you here" She says coming closer.

"Oh well thanks I guess" I said to her.

"I guess this is goodbye Connor" Lauren says as I look at her with a confused look on my face.

"I'm moving back to Toronto" She says.

"Well goodbye" She gives me a quick hug before hugging the others.

"Hey where's Maddy?" I ask Mitch after Lauren leaves the room.

"She went out to buy herself a coffee" Mitch answers.

We wait for a couple of minutes for Maddy to come back.

The door opens.

"Who knew hospital coffee was good"

I look up to see Maddy holding a tray of coffee cups.

We make eye contact.

"I'll take this" William says grabbing the tray out of her hand.

"I think we should leave" Ally says.

"I agree" William says.

"Come on I want to watch this" Mitch says as Ally grabs him the the ear.

"Ouch!" He says as they all leave the room leaving Maddy and I alone.

"Hey babe" I said to her as she looks at me at little surprised.

Her surprised face then turns to a smile.

Before I knew it she comes and gives me the biggest hug ever.

"I missed you" She says.

"Why?? I never left" I say as Maddy gives me the most passionate kiss ever.

"I love you" I say to her as she lays her forehead on mine.

"I love you too Connor" Maddy says with the most loving smile on her face.
