SIXTY TWO

"MADDY WAKE UP!!" Ally said shining a flashlight on me.

"UGH!! STOP!" I yelled back.

"Your going to be late to your appointment" Ally reminds me.

"Ugh can I just skip it?" I ask her.

"Maddy you're about to be a parent to triplets, the best thing you could do is be responsible" Ally says as I feel a baby kick.

"Fine but you have to buy me lunch" I said as I slowly get out of bed.

I change and meet Ally downstairs.

"So are you ready to fly to Toronto next week?" Ally asks as we enter her car.

"Yes i'm ready to settle in and not fly for awhile" I said as I adjust my seat so I feel more comfortable.

"Why do you want your kids born in Toronto instead of Pittsburgh?" Ally asks me.

"Well my family and Connor's family live there and I thought that with the support of both families plus my beautiful friends then it will make this pregnancy much better" I explained.

"So got any names yet?" Ally asks me.

"Nope and i won't decide until we find out the gender of the babies" I told her.

"Nice to see you again Maddy and Ally" Doctor Smith says.

"So boy or girl?" I ask right away.

"Woah we have to do another ultrasound and run some tests before you find out the gender" Doctor Smith says.

"How long is this going to take?" Ally asks.

"At least 1 hour" she says as Ally and I look at each other.

"Okay let's do it" I said as I take a seat.

We did the same procedure as we did last time we were here.

"Okay I need to run some tests and I'll be back with the results" Doctor Smith says as she leaves the room.

"We have to FaceTime Connor" I said as I got my phone out.

"I'll FaceTime Mitch" Ally says as she got her phone out.

I click on Connor's contact and wait for an answer.

"Hey baby" Connor answers as I see him on his bed.

"Hey honey we're at the doctors right now" I told him as his eyes lit up.

"And so?" He asks.

"We don't know yet but the results should come very soon" I said.

"Hey Mitchie!" Ally says.

"Hey Babe!" He says back.

"Hey Mitch" I wave to him.

"Hey Maddy and you" Mitch says as he looks at Connor.

"Mitch I said i'm sorry" Connor says.

"I'm not talking to you" Mitch sasses.

"Mitch you just did" Connor says as Mitch just ignores him.

"What happened?" I ask Connor.

"I accidentally took Mitch's plane ticket the day we left Pittsburgh and he's still mad about it" Connor explains.

"For your information I missed a lot of important stuff like I don't know THE FIRST DAY OF TRAINING CAMP!!" Mitch yells.

"What can I do to make it up to you" Connor says "I'll do anything"

Mitch smiles very wide once he hears what Connor just said.

"Anything?" Mitch repeats what Connor said.

"Yes anything and I promise" Connor says.

"Okay how about you name one of your kids after me" Mitch says as Connor coughs loudly.

"After you?" Connor says.

"You promised" Mitch smirks.

"Maddy back me up here"

"Well babe you did promise him and you did say anything" I said as Connor sits there looking defeated.

"Fine" Connor says.

"I'm back with the results" Doctor Smith walks back in.

"So?" I asked.

"Congratulations you are having 2 boys and a girl"
