TWENTY NINE

"What are you doing here??" She asked me.

"I'm here to return Steph's sweater" I said.

"Wait you two know each other?" Steph asks as Ally and I both nod.

"Cool! I'm going to the kitchen to prepare some coffee, do you guys want some?" Steph asked.

"Yes please" I said as she nodded and went to the Kitchen.

I sat down next to Ally.

"Dude I didn't know you knew Steph" Ally said.

"How did you meet her?" I asked Ally.

"Well my family is close with her family so we are practically sisters" Ally says.

"So have you met her boyfriend?" I blurt out.

"Nope but apparently he's very hot and polite" Ally says.

So she doesn't know that Steph is dating Mitch.

"How did you meet Steph?" Now it was Ally's turn to ask questions.

"Through her boyfriend" She I tell her or no.

"Cool" she mumbled.

We both sat there in silence.

I feel like I should tell her who he really is.

It's better if she found out from me instead of finding it out from someone else.

"Ally Mitch is Steph's boyfriend!".

Ally looks at me again with that shocked look on her face.

"HOLY SH-" she starts.

"Hey guys here's your coffee" Steph walks in interrupting Ally.

"YOU DIDN'T TELL ME!" Ally was furious.

"Shh!" Steph said.

"You're dating Mitch Marner!" Shits about to go down.

"Yeah why is that a problem?" Steph was clearly confused.

"Yeah it is!! He's my ex!" Steph's jaw dropped to the floor.

"Yo-your ex?"

"We broke up 3 weeks ago, i'm surprised he moved on so quickly"

"How long was your guys relationship?"

"One year almost two" Ally said.

"Please don't tell him that i'm your roommate" Ally begged to Steph.

"Okay but you need to reveal yourself eventually"

"Yeah but not now, i'm not ready"

"Well you kinda have to reveal yourself tonight" Steph says nervously.

"Why?"

"I kinda invited him over for dinner just so he can meet you" Steph says.
