TWENTY SEVEN

"Passport? Money? Clothes?" Sidney asks as he helps me unload my luggage out of the car.

"Yes dad I have everything" I joked.

"Just making sure" Sidney says closing the trunk.

"I'm going to miss you" I gave Sidney a hug.

"I'm going to miss you too, you will be back soon" he replied back.

"I'll be back just before Christmas" I said to him.

"Okay have a good flight" Sidney says as I grab my luggage and start entering the airplane.

"Don't die!!" Sidney yells as I turn around and flip him off.

I went through security and the only thing to do is to wait for the plane to start boarding.

I went on my phone and scrolled through my social medias.

"Flight 284 to Toronto is now boarding"

I gathered my stuff and went towards the line.

Toronto here I come.

After 4 hours i'm finally in Toronto.

I grabbed my luggage from the luggage claim.

I waited for Mitch to pick me up since I'm staying at his place.

"CROSBY!" I hear from behind me.

I turn around to see Mitch running up to me.

"MARNER!" I yelled back as I opened my arms so he can give me a hug.

"I missed you asshole" Mitch starts to mess up my hair.

"I missed you too Bitch" I glared at him as he just stands there smiling at me.

I fixed my hair as Mitch help with my luggage.

We went to his car, he loaded the luggages inside the trunk as I take a seat inside.

"Oh I want to tell you something" he says as he sits next to me and puts the key in to start it.

"I met someone" he smiles at me before starting to drive.

"Already?" I said "Oh I mean that's great!! What's her name??"

"Her name is Steph. My brother's girlfriend introduced us" he said as I just nodded.

All I can think about is Ally. It sucks to see him move on already.

"Mitch don't you think you are moving a little fast?" I asked him as we stopped at a red light.

"Nope besides we both needed to move on anyways" he says.

I'm surprised he's not showing any emotion whatsoever.

"Mitch what about Ally?"

"I don't care about her anymore. She's not my girlfriend anymore"

"That's harsh" I mumbled.

"Maddy if you're just here to talk about Ally then you can get out the car now. I'm with Steph now not Ally" Mitch politely says.

"Okay i'll stop. It's just that she's my girl best friend" I said.

The rest of the car ride was silent.

We pulled up to his house, there was another car parked here.

"Oh I guess Steph stopped by" Mitch said as we both got out the car.

He helped get my luggage and lead me inside the house.

"Babe!?" He yelled as I see someone run down the stairs.

"Mitchy poo!" Steph says as she runs up to Mitch's arms.

I quietly laughed at Mitch's nickname.

"Hi i'm Steph, Mitch's girlfriend" she pulled me in for a hug.

"I'm Maddy" I say back.

"You're Crosby's little sister and Mcdavid's girlfriend right?" She asked as I just looked at her.

Does she only know me from them?

"Yes I am" I said with a fake smile.

"How long have you known little Mitchy poo?" She asked me as I giggled at the name.

"What?? Like the name?" Mitch asked as his face turns red.

"No it's just that I used to call Mitch that in high school until I found another one" I said.

"Oh and what do you call him now?" Steph asks.

"Well we have this thing where I call him Bitch and he calls me Asshole" I said.

"Who came up with those names?" Steph asks again.

"Well one time I bought Mitch to my place to meet my brother and Sidney though Mitch was my boyfriend. So Sidney started calling Mitch names including Bitch, I laughed so hard because Sidney was clueless. I eventually told him that Mitch was just a friend and he called me an asshole" I explained as I remember that very day.

"I remember he told me that you are the satan's child" Mitch said as we both started to laugh.

"Wow that was a good day" I said wiping my tears from laughing too much.

"Hate to break this moment but I have to go, my roommate wants me home ASAP" Steph says getting her purse.

"Babe you have to introduce me to your roommate" Mitch said.

"Yeah me too" I commented.

"Okay but I have to ask her" Steph say.

"Bye Maddy" she gives me a hug.

"Bye Mitchy poo" She gives Mitch a peck before walking out the door.

"Mitchy poo!!" I laughed again.

"Asshole" Mitch says.

"Bitch!" I say back.
