"Hey Maddy are you ready to go?" Sidney asked me.

"Yeah just one sec" I said as I checked myself in the mirror.

I grab my purse and head downstairs.

"Okay just telling you that if you bump into him just say sorry and walk away" Sidney tells me.

"Okay father" I joked.

I was heading to the arena of another day of work.

Today was a day that I wasn't fond of.

It was the Oilers vs the Penguins which meant that Connor was going to be in the same building as me.

I'm hoping that I don't bump into him.

We drive to the arena.

Sidney gets out the car first.

He grabs his gear and quickly rushes off.

I get out the car last and walk to the entrance.

I looked in my purse for my key card.

"Where is it?" I asked myself as I started to look everywhere in my purse.

I found it but I bumped into someone causing me to fall onto the ground.

"Oh my gosh i'm so sorry".

I look up to see Connor looking at me.

"It's okay" I said.

He helped me up, his head started to hurt on the spot.

"Are you okay sir?" I asked him trying not to make it obvious that I know him.

"Yeah it's just my head hurting that's all" he says.

"Well thanks for helping me off the ground" I quickly said as I scanned my key card and entered the building.

I didn't want to talk to him any longer.

Talking to him makes my heart break.

Talking to the person you love even though he doesn't remember you breaks my heart.
