"Did you get the snacks we need??" I asked Mitch as he placed the grocery bags on the counter.
"Yup" he says as I look through the bag just to make sure.
"Chips, drinks, candy, i'm proud you actually got everything I asked for" I said to him.
"Hey I always get you what you ask for" Mitch defends himself.
"Last week I told you to buy peppers, carrots and lettuce" I said.
"And I did exactly what you said" He says back.
"Mitch you bought gummy peppers, gummy carrots, gummy lettuce, EVERYTHING WAS GUMMY!!" I yelled the last part out.
"Oh well i'm going now" he says.
"Just call me if something happens" he gives me a kiss before leaving.
"We are here!!" Steph and Maddy barge in.
"Oh and I forgot to tell you that we're staying over after the party" Maddy says as they place their bags on the ground.
"Well I need help with these decorations" Steph says holding the banner.
"I'll help" I offered.

"Um Ally i'm going to make a quick trip to the drugstore" Maddy says to me.
"Okay" I say to her as she nods and walks out the door.
"What's up with Maddy?" I ask Steph.
"Huh?"
"She's been acting weird this whole night" I say.
"It's probably nothing, don't worry about anything and have fun! This is probably the last time you're going to have fun as an unmarried woman" Steph says.
"Okay!" I say as we both start to dance.

I walk back inside to see everyone starting to leave.
"Ugh I hate traffic" I say to Ally and Steph.
"Yeah i'm sorry you missed the fun parts" Steph says as the last guests leave the house.
"Um i'm going to the bathroom" I excused myself.
I made my way to the bathroom and locked the door.
