TWENTY THREE

"Maddy drive faster!" Mitch yells at me.

"Well i'm sorry there's traffic!" I yelled back as I squint ahead from the sun shining on my face.

"Here babe" Connor hands me his sunglasses.

"Thanks honey" I said as I put it on.

"Oh there's her car!" Mitch excitedly as he points at the car.

"Look Maddy!" Mitch was really annoying.

"I know where it is!" I said as I tried to find a parking spot.

"Why are there so many people here?" Connor asked as I wondered the same.

Nothing exciting is happening to as far as I know.

"You know what you and Mitch go in, i'll find a parking spot" Connor said as he got out the car.

"Thanks babe" I kissed him as I got out.

"Let's go" Mitch grabbed my arm and dragged me inside the diner.

"This place is crowded" I commented as we tried to make our way through it.

"I know" Mitch said as we searched around for Ally.

"She's not here" Mitch said as I pulled out my phone to track down her phone again.

"No wonder she's not even here" I said as I showed him my phone.

"Why is she at that fancy French restaurant across the street?" Mitch asked as I shrugged my shoulders.

"Well let's go!" I said as we exited the diner.

We made our way across the street to the French restaurant.

On the way my phone started to ring.

"Hello?" I answered not even looking at who's calling.

"Hey babe I couldn't find a parking spot" Connor said.

"Well where are you?"

"I'm at McDonald's, it's a couple blocks away" Connor said as I can hear him eating in the background.

"Well Mitch and I went to that French restaurant across from the diner" I said to him.

"Okay just call me when you guys need to be picked up" Connor said.

"Oh I have to go!! There's some fans here" Connor hanged up as I giggled about how cute he was being.

Mitch and I entered the restaurant.

"Table for two" Mitch said as he held up two fingers.

We followed the lady that lead us to our table.

Luckily our table was near Ally's but not too close.

"Why is she by herself?" Mitch asked as I shrugged my shoulders again.

We both took a menu and used it as a shield so she doesn't notice us.

We saw a guy with a suitcase walk in and went directly to Ally's table.

Ally sat up and gave him a hug.

"Oh hell nah! She's hugging another guy!" Mitch was getting a little jealous.

The two sat down and talked.

"Anything for you two?" The waitress came up to us.

"1 bottle of your finest wine and two of your house specials" I ordered for the both of us.

"And get me some boxing gloves as well" Mitch comments as I hit him in the head.

The waitress was a little creeped out from us and walked away as quickly as she can.

By now the dude had his suitcase out.

"Look at them talking and she's smiling!"

"Mitch everyone smiles" I was the smart one in situations like this.

"Yeah and everyone cheats" The waitress brought back a bottle of wine and two glasses.

"Merci" I thanked her as I poured the wine into our glasses.

"What does she even see in this guy?"

"Well he is tall, dark and handsome. What is there not to like?" I said taking a sip of my wine.

"Ugh" Mitch banged his hand against the table.

"Shush she might see us" I warned him.

"Hey are you Mitch Marner?" A guy came up to us.

"Actually Y-"

"No he's not!" I jumped in.

"Oh and your Crosby's hot little sister Maddy" he commented.

"N- hot little sister you say?" I liked what he said about me.

"GUYS IT'S MITCH MARNER AND MADDY CROSBY!!" The guy yelled out.

Oh shit he blew our cover.

We looked at Ally's table and saw that she was gone.

"Where is she?" I asked.

Suddenly Mitch and I feel someone grab both of our ears.

"YOU TWO! Outside, NOW!" That was Ally's voice.

We are in for some treat.
