"Yes Connor i'm fine" I said over the phone.

"Just making sure you're going to be all right" Connor says.

"Connor Sidney is going to be home soon, no need to worry" I said as I looked at the time.

"Babe you need to sleep, you have training camp tomorrow morning" I said to him.

"But I want to talk to you" he said as I can tell he was pouting.

"Connor" I said sternly.

"Fine"

"Love you" I said.

"Love you too" Connor said as I hung up.

I turned off all the lights and went up to my room.

I closed my door and laid in my bed.

I continue to read my book until I heard a noise coming from downstairs.

I grabbed my baseball bat that I had under my bed.

I heard footsteps and it was getting closer.

I hid behind the door and waited for the person to open the door.

The door opens and that was when I attacked.

"AAHH!" I said.

"AHHH!" I was so close to hitting Sidney in the head.

"Sid why didn't you call my name when you got here? You scared the crap out of me" I said setting the baseball bat back under my bed.

"Sorry but I had a surprise for you" Sid said as he left the room for a moment.

He came back holding a box.

He gave me the box as I opened it.

I pulled out an Oilers jersey that had Connor's number and it said "Sidney's little sister"

"Thanks but did you really have to put "Sidney's little sister?"

"Hey everyone should know that little Connor is dating my sister" Sidney said as I gave him a hug.

"Thanks bro"

"You're welcome. Now i'm going to take a nice long bath" he said as he left my room.
