THIRTY EIGHT

"Hi Maddy" she said as she took off her glasses.

"Steph why are you here?" I asked again.

"I needed to talk to you and Mitch" she said.

"But why come in a disguise?"

"Well why are you in disguise?" She points out my hat and glasses.

"Never mind that" I said as the game was starting.

We stood up as we listened to the national anthem being sung.

We sat back down and watched the game.

The Leafs ended up winning in a shootout 4-3.

"Do you have a pass to go down to the locker room?" I asked Steph as we gathered our things.

"Yeah Mitch gave me a year long pass" Steph pulls out her pass and shows me.

"Wow he gave me a one night pass" I said looking down at my pass.

"Let's go" Steph said as we walked to the locker room.

We made it down there but there was a security guard standing by the door.

We showed him our passes and he nodded letting us through.

We heard music being played and the sound of yelling coming from the locker room.

We saw Auston doing his after game workouts.

He had earbuds in and I thought it would be funny to scare him.

I tiptoed to him and gave him the biggest scaring of his life.

"AHH!!" He screamed like a girl.

He fell to the ground and held his heart.

I gave Steph a high five as we started to die of laughter.

Auston gave us the famous death glare as he got up on his two feet.

"Better watch your back Crosby" he threatened me.

"Okay Matthews. Can you do us a favour and call Mitch here?" I asked him as he just stuck his tongue out and went to grab Mitch.

Mitch comes over to us and gives me a hug.

"Good job today!" I said to him.

"Thanks Mads. I have to thanks Alison for getting me out of bed today" he says as he notices Steph standing next to me.

"Wow you're really that stupid" Steph said.

"Hey i'm not stupid!" Mitch said.

"Mitch you really have no idea who Alison really is?" Steph crossed her arms.

"Yeah" Mitch said standing there looking dumbfounded.

"Mitch what's Ally's full name?"

"Alison Bea Smi- Oh" Mitch finally got it.

"Oh" he repeated as his eyes went wide open.

"What?"

"I kissed her today, no wonder those lips felt familiar" Mitch said.

"Yeah well I didn't come here just to tell you who Alison really is, I came here to talk about Ally" Steph said sounding serious.

"Well what's going on?" I ask her.

"Well she's going through this stage where she's not being herself" Steph starts off.

"She dyed her hair blue, she started wearing contacts, she got a lip and nipple piercing and she got a tattoo on her arm that says "fuck you" " She continues.

"Why would she do that? She's beautiful just the way she is" I said.

"That isn't the bad part" Steph said.

"She's planning on selling all her things and move to LA to pursue a singing career. And she's going to change her name to Jordan Walsh"

"Guys I have a crazy plan that might actually work that makes sure she stays here" Mitch says as he brings Steph and I a little closer so we can hear his plan.

And the first time in forever I can gladly say that Mitch actually has a good plan that is definitely going to work.
