TWENTY ONE

"Hey where's Mitch?" Ally asked as she enters my bedroom and takes a seat on my bed next to me.

"Sidney invited Mitch and Connor to the rink so they can do some training" I say not even looking up at her.

"Maddy what are you looking at?" Ally asked as I quickly shut down my phone.

"Nothing" I said.

"Maddy give me your phone" she says as I try my best to run out the door.

Unfortunately she was quick and caught me eventually tackling me on the ground.

"GET OFF ME!!" I said as I struggle to push her off.

"Give me your phone!!" She says as I still refuse.

After a long struggle she eventually grabbed the phone out of my hands.

"Ha I know your password" she says as she puts in the numbers.

We both get off the ground.

"Maddy I told you not to look at these!" Ally says as I pretend I didn't do anything.

"Huh?" I said.

"Maddy I told you not to look at hate comments under your photos" Ally throws my phone on my bed.

"But I can't help it" I said as I took a deep breath.

"Maddy something that I learned when I first started dating Mitch was to not look at those comments because most of them are just plain rude" Ally says which is true.

Most of the comments I read were really really mean.

"Sorry I was just curious" I said to her.

"Okay but don't do this again" She says.

"I'm going to get changed" I said as I walked over to my bathroom.

I closed the door and changed my clothes.

I looked at myself in the mirror.

All I can think of are those mean comments.

She's so fat

She should go to the gym more often with that body..

Connor chose the ugliest girl to be with

Maddy Crosby is the ugliest bitch I've even seen in my entire life

She should just kill herself

I would cry if i had that fatness and ugliness she has

Tears roll down my face as those words keep repeating in my head.

I hear a knock on the door before seeing it opened.

"Hey Maddy we are ba-" Mitch started before he realized I was crying.

He closed the door and came up to me.

"Hey are you okay?" He asked as I just shook my head no, he pulled me in for a hug.

"Whatever it is just remember that i'll be here every step of the way" he reassures me.

"Thank you" I said to him.

"Bestie?" he says as I just smile.

"Bestie" I answer back to him.

"Okay now let's go meet Ally and Connor downstairs" he says as he pats my back.

"Wait Mitch is my makeup destroyed?" I ask him.

"Maddy why does it matter you look good with or without it" he says opening the door.

"Mitch stop i'm blushing" I playfully push him as he pretends that it hurt so bad.

"Ouch!" He pretends to cry

"Why are you my best friend?" I ask him.

"Because you wuv me"

"Uh okay" I say as I walk away from him.

I can tell he was offended by that.
