FIFTY SIX

"You have to cover for me" I said to Steph.

"Have you told Connor yet?" She asked me.

"No and i'm scared that's he's going to freak out and leave me" I told Steph as we took a seat at one of the tables.

"This is HUGE!" Steph says "This can change everything"

"You're telling me" I said as Ally approached us.

"So did one of you guys tell Mitch that I was pregnant?" I looked at Steph and shook my head.

"I did" Steph said.

"Why?" Ally asked back.

"Because I wanted to cover up. I'm the one that's actually pregnant" Steph said sending a wink to me.

"Really!? Who's the father?" Ally said.

"Um Bobby Duh" Steph came up with a name.

"Bobby Duh?"

"Yeah well now I have to call him and tell him that i'm having his baby" Steph walked away.

"Wow Steph's pregnant" Ally sat next to me.

"Yeah" I said trying not to cry.

"Is it just me or is she making this up. It's like she's covering for someone" Ally said as I choked on air.

"Champagne?" A waiter asked us.

"Yes please" I said as I took a sip.

I then felt sick so I turned to my side and spit it out on the floor.

"Maddy what are you doing?" Ally asked as I turned back around to face her.

"Um it tasted funny" I said.

Ally took the glass out of my hand and took a sip out of it.

"Tastes fine to me" She said as I awkwardly smile at her.

Her smile turns into a surprised face.

"Maddy are you pregnant?" She asked as I looked at the ground.

"MAD-" I quickly covered her mouth.

"Shut up" I said to her.

"So I just called Bobby" Steph sat back at our table.

"Steph I know that Maddy's the one that's pregnant" Ally said.

"Well you k- ugh what's the point" Steph gave up and took the drink out of Ally's hand and took a sip.

"So does Connor know?" Ally asked.

"No and promise not to tell him yet. I want to be the one to tell him" I said.

"Fine but you better tell him soon. If i'm being honest you kinda gained some weight" Ally said.

We looked at the dance floor and saw people dancing.

"Hey look it's Auston and his date Jordyn" Steph pointed at them.

Jordyn looks like she's having the time of her life while Auston looks like he wants to die.

"Help me" Auston mouthed as we just laughed at him.
