"Mcdavid" Connor said as the waitress nodded and lead us to our seats.
"Thank you" we both said. Connor pulls out my chair for me to sit before he sat down.
"This is a nice place, isn't it expensive??" I asked him as we looked at the menu.
"Well it is expensive but don't even worry about it" he assured me.
The waitress came by, we ordered our food and she took the menu's away.
"Babe you look so hot" Connor compliments me as I blush.
"Well don't you look handsome" I say back making him blush.
"Hey are you Connor Mcdavid?" A young girl asked.
"Well yes I am" Connor replied.
"Can I take a photo with you?" She asked with the most precious voice ever.
Connor picked her up and placed her on his lap, the little girls mom took the photo.
I smiled and watched how Connor was with kids.
This makes me think about how this is going to be Connor with our kids. Wait why am I thinking about our future, we aren't even married yet?
"Thank you Mr Mcdavid" she said.
"And you have a very beautiful girlfriend" she said before walking away.
"Aww she's so cute" I said.
"Isn't she" he said as he grabs his cup of champagne and takes a sip from it.
"Connor do you ever wonder about the future?" I ask him,
"Of course I do" he says as he sends me a wink.
The waitress arrives with our food.
Connor and I just have a small conversation.
Now it was time for dessert.
Connor ordered us something which I didn't know what it was.
"Here's your banana split" The waitress comes with the banana split which was huge.
"Connor we can't finish this" I told him as he passed me a spoon.
"I know but we can try" we said as we both started to eat.
A couple minutes pass by and I'm surprised with how much we ate.
I suddenly felt something in my mouth.
I took it out and saw it was a piece of paper.
I read it out loud.
"Look underneath the table".
I did exactly what it said on the paper.
I looked underneath and saw nothing there.
I looked back up and noticed Connor wasn't at his seat anymore.
Instead he was next to me kneeling on one knee.
I covered my mouth with my hand.
"Maddy Crosby I love you so much. Once we bumped each other and I laid my eyes on you, I knew instantly you were the one for me. I want to be there by your side through everything. I want you to be the mother of my children. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So I was wondering..... Will you marry me??"
"Yes" I said as tears started to go down my face.
Connor put the ring on my finger before kissing me.
