SIXTY ONE

                        1 week later

"Ready for today's ultrasound?" Connor asks me as I just give him a death glare.

"You woke me up at 8am for an ultrasound, i'm not in the mood to discuss it right now. And if anyone mentions it, they will get their ass kicked. Now i'm going to cut some fruit" I said grumpily as I turned around and grabbed the fruits and knife.

"HEY LOSERS!" Mitch and Ally walk into the kitchen.

"Hey Maddy ready for the ultrasound?" Mitch asks me.

I turn around with the knife in my hand.

Mitch looks terrified as he hides behind Ally.

"Honey put it down" Connor says taking the knife out of my hands.

"Sorry it's just that i'm not a morning person at all" I apologize.

"Well it's time to go anyways" Connor grabs my jacket and hand sit to me.

"But my fruit" I said looking at it.

"Um Mitch can pack it up for you" Ally says patting Mitch on his shoulder.

"Thanks" he says as he walks over to the counter and places the fruit in a container.

"You're welcome" Mitch hands me the container.

"Why are you guys here anyways?" I ask them.

"We are here to support you" Mitch says.

"Plus we made a bet" Ally mumbles.

"You guys bet on our baby?!" Connor said.

"You guys should be ashamed of yourselves! Isn't that right Maddy?" Connor crosses his fingers.

"Aw you guys bet on our baby! That's the most sweetest thing ever" I said as I give them a hug.

"Okay time to go" Connor grabs me and directs me out the door.

"Mitch you drive" Connor throws him the keys.

"Hello Maddy take a seat" Doctor Smith says.

"And i'm guessing you're the husband Connor" Doctor Smith accidentally goes up to Mitch and shakes his hand.

"Indeed I am" Mitch says proudly as Ally smacks the back of his head.

"I'm Connor" Connor says shaking her hand.

"Oh sorry my mistake. Well should we go ahead and start the ultrasound?"

The doctor puts jell on my stomach and grabs the ultrasound probe and places it on my stomach.

We look at the monitor and see the baby.

"Aw look at it" Ally says.

"It's so cute" I said.

"Looks exactly like his father" Mitch says.

"Mitch shut up" Connor says.

"Look you can see the babies in there" Doctor Smith says.

"Aw look at the ba- babies?"I repeat the doctor.

"Well you do know you're having triplets right?" She says as all four of us are surprised.

"Triplets?!" I said.

"No there must be a mistake. You see we only ordered one" Connor says.

"Well you see the three heartbeats" she says as we take a look at the monitor.

"Yeah but I thought our baby was a monster with three heartbeats" Connor says.

"Well congratulations. Well we're all done here. I'll go grab your picture for the ultrasound" Doctor Smith leaves the room.

"Triplets. Connor we're going to be parents to three kids!!" I excitedly say as Connor just smiles at me.

"Even though this freaks me out, i'm happy that you're happy" he says giving me a kiss.

"Maddy you're the only hope these kids have" Mitch says.

"What?" I ask him.

"I mean you're the one with the good looks" Mitch jokes as Ally smacks him again.

"Don't mind my idiot husband but congratulations" Ally gives me a hug.

"Okay here are your photos" Doctor Smith walks back in.

"And come back in two weeks so we can see the gender of the babies" Doctor Smith says.

"Two weeks! Mitch and I won't be here, hockey season starts next week" Connor says.

"Well I can take her" Ally volunteers.

"Okay that's settled" Mitch says.

"Anyways see you soon and congrats" Doctor Smith says.
