SIXTY FOUR

                       5 months later

"I can't wait for this baby to come out" I say.

"Well you're 8 months in and next month is your due date" Mitch reminds me.

"Gosh i'm so done with this" I say.

"Maddy do you even know what to do with a baby. Like how to change a diaper, how to put the baby to sleep?" Ally asks me.

"Um kinda" I said.

"Maddy you need to take lessons" Ally gets up and grabs a newspaper.

"I read that there are some baby courses happening later this afternoon and I thought that you should take it" Ally says as she hands me the newspaper.

"This does sound interesting but it says that it's a couple course" I said reading what it says on the newspaper.

"Well you need someone to step in and act like the father" Ally said.

We both looked at each other before staring at Mitch.

"No" Mitch says.

"Come one Mitch" I begged.

"No i'm not doing it" he says.

"Fine I guess I can't name the babies after you" I said looking at him.

"You know I hate you" Mitch says.

"Aw I love you" I said giving him a hug.

"Here we are" I said as we enter the room.

There were lots of couples here.

"Hello i'm Theresa your instructor for today"

"Hi i'm Maddy Crosby and this is my husband Mitch" I lied about the Mitch part.

Turns out that you have to be a couple no fill ins are allowed

"Well you two can take a seat on the mats" She says as Mitch and I do exactly what she said.

"Hello couples and welcome to baby course 101" Theresa says. "First let's start off with introductions"

"How about you two" Theresa points at Mitch and I.

"Well hi i'm Maddy and this is my husband Mitch and i'm 8 months pregnant" I say.

"So boy or girl?" One of the moms ask.

"Well it's 2 boys and a girl, i'm having triplets" I said as everyone awed.

"Well thank you for sharing Maddy and Mitch" Theresa says as we continue around the circle.

"Okay time for lesson 1 which is to change a diaper" Theresa starts off.

"Everyone with get this game baby which is battery operated which means that this baby will actually pee" Theresa hands us the baby.

"Everyone please take your time and I will judge solely on how you did it".

"How do you do this?" I ask Mitch.

"I don't know I haven't changed one in years" Mitch says.

Mitch and I ended up trying our own thing which ended up looking great.

Theresa comes up to us and examines the baby.

"Looks great!! Good job!" She says walking away.

"Yes!" Mitch and I celebrated.

"Um Mitch I think she needs a change again" I said.

Mitch takes off the diaper at he wrong time.

Since the baby is battery operated it accidentally peed all over Mitch's face.

I tired my best not to laugh but failed.

"Don't even" Mitch says looking pissed.

"And our winners are Mitch and Maddy" Theresa says as everyone cheers.

"Thanks you!" Mitch and I bow.

"I would like to thank everyone here, my friends, family and my man Connor" I said accidentally saying the wrong name.

"Connor?" One of the ladies say.

"Mitch I mean Mitch" I said quickly.

"Connor who?" Another lady asks.

"Um Mitch" I say.

"What?"

"Run" I said as we both quickly gathered our things.

"Thank you for your time" I said to Theresa as Mitch and I leave.
