Harry-22, headspace 9-10 months

Liam-23, Daddy

Louis-24, Papa

Niall-23, Dada

"Harry, are you alright?" Liam asked, seeing the younger boy's red eyes and tearstained cheeks as he returned from a meeting with management.

Harry ignored him, instead just trudging up to his bedroom and locking himself in. The meeting today had gone very badly for him, with management berating him for goofing off on stage and not following the image they had set for him. Normally they did this sort of thing with all the boys present, so even if they focussed on Harry (which they had an unnecessary tendency to do), he had someone to back him up. However, today they had just asked for Harry, so he was left alone to deal with all the criticism and not-so-gentle reminders being thrown at him.

Coming home, he was in a very bad mood. The meeting had left him feeling very down about himself and rather angry, so he figured he would stay out of the way of the others, hence the locking himself in his room.

About an hour after Harry's return, Louis got home from doing some errands with takeout from Nando's for dinner. He found Liam and Niall both in the living room, pl3aying a round of FIFA.

"Where's Harry?" he asked, as the younger lad usually liked to be where people were. He thought maybe he hadn't made it home yet, though meetings didn't normally go so late.

"Upstairs. He seemed to be in a bit of a mood when he got home. I thought I'd let him be," Liam explained, taking his attention off the game long enough to talk to Louis.

"Meeting not go well?"

"I don't know. He didn't say."

"Right, well, I've got dinner, so you guys grab some plates and I'll see if he wants to come down." Louis left the takeout containers on the coffee table, slinging his coat over the back of the couch before he headed upstairs to find Harry.

*knock knock*

"Go 'way," Harry grumbled, not wanting to talk to anyone yet.

Louis ignored him and chose to keep talking. "I brought Nando's home. Do you want to come down to eat?"

"No. Leave me alone." Harry just wanted to sulk in private, and he knew that if the others saw how upset he was, they would do something about it. Not that he didn't want them to, he was just embarrassed to be so worked up over a meeting.

See, sometimes, when Harry got stressed out and needed a break, the other boys did something particularly...drastic. But it wasn't, not for them. It was good for all of them, especially Harry. He needed it, needed to feel cared for and protected. That's why they had all decided, several years ago, to start doing ageplay with him. It wasn't a full-time thing, it only happened occasionally, when it was needed and they had enough time.

But right now, there wasn't really time. They had the evening, that was about it, and Harry knew the others had plans. He didn't want them to think they had to forfeit those and take care of him just because of one bad meeting.

"Are you alright, Harry?" Louis asked, knowing that he was, in fact, not alright. The grumpiness was a pretty clear indicator to him that Harry was very far from okay. If he was even just a little not okay, he would have sought comfort from one of the others.
