LV – Chapter 10

Chione’s POV

“Are they sleeping already?” tanong sakin ni mommy. Nasa living room pa kasi ako, medyo kailangan ng exposure sa mga friends nila.

“Probably not” bored kong sagot.

“HAHA! Ikaw talaga, sige na. Join them, kami nang bahala ng daddy mo sa mga bisita” sabi ni mommy sakin.

“Uhm, mom! Since I don’t have classes tomorrow, can I go to that place again? I just missed the kids” tanong ko. Hindi porket malaki na ko eh hindi ko na kailagan pa magpaalaam. Hindi naman ako katulad nung ibang rich kids diyan sa tabi-tabi.

“Where? To the place where you used to play with Kai when you were kids?” tanong niya.

“Yes” tipid kong sagot. Alam ko namang papayag siya eh.

“Sure. D’you want me to come with you?” –Mommy

“Oh no! I’m fine. I can drive myself to there” –ako

“No you won’t you’re still not under age. I’ll call someone to drive for you” after saying that she smiled.

“Okay! I’ll be upstairs if you need me” tapos nagkiss ako sa cheek niya. Ganyan kami ka-close ng mommy ko, were like sisters.

Dumerecho muna ako sa kitchen para magpakuha ng juice and cake. Midnight snacks. Haha!

“Pakidala na lang po sa room ko, thank you” pagkatapos nun dumerecho ako sa kwarto ni Sahara. Nakasanayan ko na yun eh, I’ll check up on her before going to my room.

“Why aren’t you sleeping baby?” tanong ko sa kanya pagkapasok ko ng room niya, nakatutok pa siya sa tv at nanonood ng KPOP. Hmm! Adik  na rin sa KPOP? Nahawaan ata ni Yannie. Tss!

“I’m watching Kai oppa perform live unnie” humarap ako sa tv at..Kai? Eh Press Play kaya yan.

“Kai oppa? Aniyo. It’s not him Chaeli. Remember the boys a while ago? It’s them” she gave me a confused look.

“But I heard them talking about Kai oppa in their room” sabi niya, talking about him?

“Maybe because that’s the old room of Kai. Don’t think too much baby, sleep now okay?” tumango naman siya pagkasabi ko nun. Weird! “Ate. Ikaw na po bahala kay Chaeli ha?” sabi ko sa yaya niya. Tumango naman siya.

*TOK*TOK*

“Come in” sabi ni Peigne for sure.

Pag pasok ko halata mong may namamagitang tensyon sa kanilang pito. What’s with them?

“What’s up with the looks guys? If only looks could kill, I’ll be dead by now” sabi ko with matching tawa pa pero hindi pa rin naialis yung mga tinginan nila. Lalong lalo na yung tingin nila kay Irvin.

“I want to tell you som--”

“I think it’s best if he was the one to tell her” Sabi ni Michen kay Stanley.
