Your POV

I rolled out of bed and tiptoed out of our room, trying not to wake up Shawn. I walked down the stairs and entered the kitchen, clicking the kettle on so it started boiling and grabbing a large mug. I put a tea bag in the mug and added sugar. The kettle began to boil so I poured the hot water into my drink and added some milk.

I sat on the sofa in the living room in silence. The only sounds that were heard were from the loud storm outside. Every time the thunder struck I jumped out of my skin. I hated thunder storms especially at 3 am. I grabbed the large blanket on the floor from earlier and curled up with it. The rain slowly ran down the glass window as I stared out at the pitch black city. I sipped my tea and watched the sky as it poured with rain.

A loud bang of thunder shocked me out of my thoughts and lightning shot down from the night sky. I curled up in a small ball on the sofa and tears began to roll down my cheeks. I wanted Shawn to hold me and comfort me but I didn't want to wake him up. He had to go to the studio to record a few songs for his next album and he needed his sleep. I grabbed the soft, fluffy blanket and pulled it around me tightly. I heared footsteps comming down the stairs and I felt two large arms wrap around me from behind.
"Why didn't you just wake me up babe?" Shawn asked.
He sat beside me and wrapped the blanket around himself to. I lent my head on his shoulder and he stroked my hair, trying to comfort me.
"You have a busy day at work tomorrow." I replied.
"I'll be fine." Shawn smiled,"Wake me up next time."
"I will..." I sighed.
Another loud bang came and I nestled me head in the blanket.
"Sshhh..." Shawn wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer,"It will be okay. It will be over soon."

The clouds began to move and the storm ended. I began to drift off as Shawn ran his hands through my hair.
"I love you." I yawned.
"I love you too baby." Shawn wispered and I drifted into a deep sleep.
