Your POV

Shawn and I had been best friends for a few years and we knew everything about eachother...Well almost everything.

I pulled at the long sleeves of my grey hoodie, knocking on Shawns parents door. His mum opened the door and smiled sweetly,"Hello sweetheart. Shawn is in his room."
She opened the door and let me enter.
"Thank you." I smiled back and ran up the stairs.
I flung Shawn's bedroom door wide open and jumped on top of him, on the bed.
"FUCK!" Shawn laughed,"I wasn't ready!"
"Hi!" I giggled and rolled off of him,"What are you doing?"
"I was just singing and practicing my guitar." He picked up his guitar and strummed it.
"Let me hear!" I clapped excitedly.
"Okay." Shawn looked down and began to sing.

White lips, pale face
Breathing in snowflakes
Burnt lungs, sour taste
Light's gone, day's end
Struggling to pay rent
Long nights, strange men

And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since eighteen
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries
And they scream
The worst things in life come free to us

Cause we're just under the upper hand
And go mad for a couple grams
And she don't want to go outside tonight
And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland
Or sells love to another man
It's too cold outside
For angels to fly
Angels to fly

Ripped gloves, raincoat
Tried to swim and stay afloat
Dry house, wet clothes
Loose change, bank notes
Weary-eyed, dry throat
Call girl, no phone

And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since eighteen
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries
And they scream
The worst things in life come free to us

Cause we're just under the upper hand
And go mad for a couple grams
And she don't want to go outside tonight
And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland
Or sells love to another man
It's too cold outside
For angels to fly
An angel will die
Covered in white
Closed eye
And hoping for a better life
This time, we'll fade out tonight
Straight down the line

And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since eighteen
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries
They scream
The worst things in life come free to us

And we're all under the upper hand
Go mad for a couple grams
And we don't want to go outside tonight
And in a pipe we fly to the Motherland
Or sell love to another man
It's too cold outside
For angels to fly
Angels to fly
To fly, fly
For angels to fly, to fly, to fly
For angels to die

He strummed the strings a few more times before putting it down beside him and looking at me.
"That was incredible Shawn!" I smiled,"You are truly talented."
"Thank you Y/N." He replied and looked at me.
"What?" I frowned and played with the sleeve of my hoodie.
"Oh nothing." Shawn paused.
He jumped on top of me and just sat there.
"What are you doing?" I laughed.
"Payback for earlier." He smirked.
Shawn straddled my lap and stared into my eyes.
"We know everything about eachother right?" He asked.
"Yeah why?" I questioned him
Shawn took my arm in his hand and looked into my eyes. He slowly pulled up my sleeve and tears began to fill in his eyes. I pulled my wrist away and looked at the ceiling.
"Why Y/N?" He cried.
"I-It's nothing Shawn. I-I'm fine." I chocked out.
"No you're not Y/N." Shawn sat up and helped me up.
"I-It was stupid." I looked down.
"Tell me...Please." Shawn chocked out.
"I was just getting bullied really bad and my mum and dad split up. I had no one Shawn." I cried,"I-I didn't know what else to do..."
"You have me Y/N." Shawn held my wrist and ran his thumb along the small scars on my arm,"I will always be here."
"I know." I looked into his eyes,"I'm s-sorry."
"You don't need to be sorry. I'm sorry! I should have been there to help you." He wiped my tears away with his other hand,"Don't cry baby girl."
Shawn always used sweet nicknames for me, like you would use in a relationship.

I stared into Shawns brown eyes and began to lean in. He followed and our noses touched. I closed the gap and kissed him slowly. Fireworks exploded in my stomach as our lips moved in sync. He held my face with one hand and resumed to caress my wrist with the other. We pulled away and lent our for heads together.
"Always remember that people love you Y/N. It may not feel like it sometimes but I have and will always love you. You always have me to talk to." Shawn wispered,"Please don't hurt yourself like this again. Your life is worth more than them fucking bullies and you are so beautiful."
"Thank you Shawn." I sighed softly.
Shawn looked into my eyes and smiled, connecting our lips together again. I kissed back softly and I wrapped my arms around his neck. He wrapped his arms around my waist and smiled into the kiss.

Someone knocked on Shawns bedroom door and we both pulled away, blushing. Shawns mum opened the door and smiled,"Sorry to disturb you but I was wondering if Y/N was staying for dinner?"
"Yeah she will, thanks mum." Shawn said.
"Okay then I will call you two down in about half an hour." She shut the door and walked down the stairs.
Shawn held my hand and looked into my E/C eyes,"I was kinda wondering if you would like to be my girlfriend?"
"I would love to Shawn." I smiled and pulled him in for a tight embrace.
"I will always be here to protect you Y/N." Shawn smiled and began to lean in again.
I pushed him off the bed and onto the hem carpeted floor,"Hah!"
"Oi." Shawn pouted and grabbed my leg, pulling me on top of him,"I think I deserve my kiss now."
I pecked him on the lips.
"There." I giggled and rolled off of him,"Let's go see what's for dinner."
I helped Shawn up and dragged him down the stairs, intertwining our fingers together.
