Stage fright

I stood, frozen, back stage. I could hear thousands of screaming fans, calling my name. I was the opening act for my boyfriends concert and I had major stage fright. My heart pounded out of my chest as the seconds slowly ticked down until I had to go out there and sing my heart out. I breathed in and out deeply, wiping my sweaty palms onto my perfectly picked out outfit. I closed my eyes for a second, taking the situation in. I had to go out there! I had to sing to them! I felt two large arms wrap around me and someone placed their head onto my shoulder.

"You can do it Y/N! You are an incredible singer princess and I promise you once you get out there and start to sing it is fine. Imagine you are in your room! Imagine you are singing to me!" Shawn reassured me,"You can do it baby! Go show them what you are made of!"
"Okay you're on Y/N!" One of the women backstage said, cheerfully.
Shawn unwrapped his arms from around me and smiled down at me.
"You can do It!" He laughed.

My heartbeat began to increase as I began to walk onto the stage. I breathed deeply and pulled the mic up towards my face. I began to sing.

I ended the song and screams and cheers could be heard throughout the whole arena. A huge smile was planted on my face as I waved and jogged off of the dark stage. When I got backstage Shawn embraced me into a tight, loving hug. He pecked me on the lips and smiled.
"That was incredible Y/N! I'm so proud of you. I'm so glad you are my opening act for tour." He grinned.
"Awh thank you so much Shawn! That was incredible, the atmosphere. Whoa!" I giggled.
"Okay Shawn your on!" The woman from earlier told him.
"Well I guess it's my turn now!" He smirked.
"Good luck baby!" I shouted as he ran onto the stage.

I spent the rest of my evening watching the love of my life fulfill his passion. His voice, like an angel, filled the arena. He looked so happy. I'm so glad I get to join him on this journey. We get to fulfill our passion of singing together.
