29. Lazy Day (Fluffy Fluff)

(Joey's POV)

I'm sitting on the couch with the dogs when Daniel stumbles in obviously still partially asleep "hey Daniel" he waves before falling onto the couch with a groan "why aren't you in bed? You're obviously still sleepy" he shrugs "I'm gonna wake up in a minute" walking to my drowsy boyfriend, I pick him up before sitting back down with Daniel curled up on my lap "do you want to just lay around all day?" Daniel nods, somehow curling up more on my lap "you're extra cuddly when you're tired" he slightly smiles, resting his head against my neck. My hand subconsciously plays with his hair as we watch the movie, the dogs sleeping below us. "Joey?" "Hmm?" "Are we just going to watch movies all day?" I shrug, realizing I haven't really thought this day out thoroughly. "We can do anything you want, as long as it doesn't require leaving the house" Daniel looks up at me with a smirk "anything I want?"

Returning to the living room, Daniel suggests going out to the pool. "I wish Lark was here, we could've taught her to swim" "nah, she's still too young for the pool" looking at the boys, I smirk at Daniel "I know two boys who aren't too young for the pool." Smiling, Daniel and I sneak up behind Wolf and Storm, picking them up (with some struggle because of Wolf) we walk into the shallow end, placing them in the pool startling them. Storm starts to drink the pool water while Wolf just stands there staring at us. "He's probably cursing us out in his mind" Daniel whispers "no! Wolfie's a sweet boy!" I push Storm's muzzle away from the water "if only this demon was as smart as Wolf" I sit down beside Daniel, wrapping my arm around his waist. "We should go in the pool instead of just sitting on the edge" "yeah that sounds like a good idea." We run inside the house, leaving the dogs outside.

Coming back in swim trunks, (and Daniel in a speedo) we hop into the pool, splashing the dogs in the process. "Want me to hook up my iPhone? We can listen to music" Daniel nods before I hop out of the pool. I splash Daniel as I jump back in, laughing as I come up for air "really Joseph?" I shrug before latching onto him "I'm sorry Danny, you have to admit though, it was pretty funny" Daniel rolls his eyes before pressing his lips to mine. Moving off of him, I swim in circles around him before spanking his perfect ass and swimming away. "Joseph!" I look at him with a cheeky smile before heading toward the dogs "oh you're gonna get it, boy!"

After drying off, I edit and upload my newest video as Daniel makes us lunch. "And another video has been uploaded!" I close my laptop looking at Daniel with a smile "which one?" opening my computer again, I show him the thumbnail "oh they're going to love it!" I smile, kissing his cheek "you're the best cameraman a YouTuber could ever have!" Daniel smirks "I know!" While we eat, we held hands below the table as Wolf and Storm laid below us. It was nice and quiet in the house, Daniel and I lay on the couch, my head under his chin with his arms around me tightly.

Looking at Daniel, his eyes are closed as slow and steady breaths escaped his parted lips. "Aww, my little boy is sleeping!" I kiss his chin before falling asleep myself. I wake up with a jolt, the house is pitch black only lit up with candles that were placed in random spots. "Daniel?" The back door opens, startling me. Not knowing it was Daniel, I curled in a ball on the couch, pulling a blanket over my head. "Woah, woah it's okay. It's just me!" Peeking out, Daniel's worried face greets me "don't scare me like that! I thought someone was breaking in" pouting, Daniel picks me up, the blanket not falling off my body. "Why are all the lights off?" "I thought it'd make this aura a little more...romantic" a smile rises on my face "you're cute!" Looking at the dining room table, Daniel had set up the table with rose petals and candles "oh my, this is so thoughtful Danny Boy, why did you do this?" Setting me on my feet, he wraps his arms around my waist "can't I set up a wonderful dinner date with my boyfriend?"

Usually, when you have lazy days with your significant other, you watch movies while eating ice cream and pizza. But this lazy day with Daniel is better than that cliche. As we sat down, I noticed a letter on my plate. I looked at Daniel skeptically "don't worry, it's not a proposal" nodding my head, I open the folded slip of paper. Reading the paper, I look at Daniel "this looks like something that could lead to a proposal" "I'm not proposing. When I do, it'll be more spontaneous than a letter and a candlelit dinner" blushing darkly, I put the note in my pocket.

I helped Daniel clean up, we reminisced and joked around as we cleaned. "Joey?" I looked at Daniel "yeah?" Pulling me into his arms, he kissed my cheek repeatedly "I loved this lazy day, I love every day I spend with you" I kiss him "couldn't agree more."
