79. Vampire Janiel (Fluff?)

Joey never believed in the supernatural, let alone vampires or werewolves. He thought the Twilight movies were garbage, thinking that there is no possibility of it ever being a reality. But when he met his boyfriend Daniel, he knew something was going on. He could tell he was wearing colored contacts, seeing the bright red hiding behind the light green. His skin was as white as the snow, but unlike the bullshit that is Twilight, he doesn't sparkle. Looking up the legends of vampires, Joey is sure his boyfriend is one of them. But if he is, does that mean he's going to kill Joey? I mean, the thirst for blood must be killing him whenever he's around him. More importantly, why hasn't he told him? Is he afraid that Joey would be scared off?

Daniel is a newborn vampire. His family deciding to wait until he's eighteen before turning him since he was adopted at age four. He never knew how strong the thirst for human blood could be before he met his boyfriend. Every time he's around Joey he just wants to press his teeth against his neck. But no, he couldn't do that to Joey. He doesn't want to kill him, but at the same time, he doesn't want Joey to go through the painful process of being changed. Although, if Joey was also a vampire, he wouldn't be tempted to suck his blood, and they could live together forever. He's even brought this up to his family, who agree that Daniel changing Joey would be the best way to go. What they don't understand is, Daniel's afraid that once he sinks his teeth into Joey, he might not have the strength to stop.

One night, when Daniel thought Joey was asleep, he took out the colored contacts. Looking into a mirror at the bright red color surrounding his pupils, Daniel sighs "why can't I be normal?" A hand on his shoulder startles him "I knew it" he hears Joey's voice coming from behind him. Turning around, Daniel is met with a sad Joey. "Why didn't you tell me you're a vampire?" "Because it's weird! Vampires aren't supposed to be real! Plus, if I pretended to be normal, I thought I could push off the thirst to drink blood." "I thought your family chases after animals?" Daniel nods "we do, but being around you..." Joey nods, looking at the floor. "I might regret this after I say it, but at the same time, I don't want to torment you any longer." Daniel's eyes widen "regret what?" "I think this should end, us." Wrapping his arms around Joey, Daniel holds him tight "no, I can control it. I can control myself" "Daniel, I can tell you're trying hard not to bite me, with your close vicinity to my neck." Pulling away to look Joey in the eye, Daniel shakes his head "please Joey, I don't want to lose you."

Joey's mind was made up, he didn't want to torture Daniel any longer. "I'm sorry Daniel" walking to the stairs, Daniel watches in agony as Joey grabs his bag. "Wait" Joey pauses, waiting for Daniel to continue "I'll change you." Joey turns around "what?" Walking slowly over to his boyfriend, Daniel takes his hand "let me turn you into a vampire" "you would risk turning me into a vampire? But that requires you to bite me, and blood dripping into your mouth. What if you can't find the ability to stop?" Sighing, Daniel nods "I am scared of that I'm not going to lie, but I'd rather risk it than lose you." Joey stands in front of Daniel for a minute, thinking over what he's about to say. Would he rather leave Daniel forever? No. Would he rather live with Daniel forever? Yes. But he's more paranoid that overtime, Daniel would regret his decision. Forever is a long time. "What if one day, you regret your decision about changing me? What if you get sick of me one day?" "I'm not, there's no way I could ever get tired of spending time with you" walking to the couch, Daniel follows a few feet behind.

"I'm not going to leave you, but that's not a reason why you should ask to change me" Daniel nods "that's not the only reason. I want to be with you forever, I don't ever want to lose you. I want to spend my forever with you" looking at his feet, Joey shrugs "I don't know." "Look, I know you're afraid that one day I'm just going to pack up and leave, wishing that I never turned you. But that's not going to happen. You know why?" Daniel tips Joey's head up, looking him in the eye "because once I turn you, you become mine. And our bond will never break, no one could ever come between us. Once I turn you, there's no turning back. You're mine, and I'll forever be yours." Smiling, Joey leans forward, kissing him quickly before sitting back. "So, do you want to become a vampire?" Nodding, Daniel cheers, picking Joey up to swing him around.
