Too late. Shoot. I'm doomed.

He's holding my phone so I guess he already saw it. Still, I'm hoping he didn't. Ugh, no way. What to do now? I should explain it in a way that Maymay won't get angry. Pero paano? Obvious mistake kasi eh.

"It's not what you think." I said, the safest answer that I ever thought. Deny, deny, denial.

"It is what it is, bro." He answered. "Aminin mo nalang kasi." How do I undo this mess? Tsk tsk.

"Okay. The truth is that Maymay asked me to, so I did. It's just that." Ayan ha? I told him na, that's the truth.

He raised his eyebrow and said, "What are you talking about, bro?"

"Thanks for sharing!" He laughed. "I didn't even notice your wallpaper. It's blurred actually, because of the notifications. But since you said that it's you with Maymay, now I know." For real!? I just burned myself to ashes for that. Hayst! Another epic fail!

"Ugh. Then what?" I said. I had no better words.

"It's not just that, bro." He said.

"What do you mean?" I asked. What's even worse than falling on your own trap, huh? Teka lang. Does he know something I don't?

"This." He said as he reached for his pocket to get his phone. "Wait, I'll find it first." He browsed for seconds and handed his phone to me.

He showed me the latest exchange of messages he had with Maymay, about few minutes ago.

"See this? This one." He said and pointed out Maymay's last reply.

May dinaanan lang ako. Patapos narin to. See you!

"And?" I asked.

"It's the same as this, bro!" He added as he handed me my phone which he has been holding on his left hand. I almost forgot.

I saw the same message he was talking about on my lockscreen. I forgot to swipe it off pala kanina that's why he saw it as one of the notifications. Probably, nag-light up yung screen when I received another notification that's why he saw it. What's the matter with that?

"Okay. Yeah, that's Maymay. Just spill it out. I still don't get it. What's with the same message anyway?" I said.

He smiled at me and said "It's her name in your​ phone, bro." I looked back at my phone once again.

"It's freaking 'Liza Soberano,' bro! Now I know who's that 'Enrique Gil' in Maymay's contacts now." He said then laughed out loud for his discovery. "You're the guy, for sure!" Uh-oh.
