It’s now 7:30 in the evening and Allana had left the party for like, a lot of times, and it seems weird or maybe she just needed a lot of air. I approached Carmela.

Carmela was drinking a glass of champagne.

Carmela: Oh, hey!

Harry: Hi! Do you know what’s going on with her?

Carmela pointed at a random woman by her side. I don’t know who invited her, me or Allana.

Carmela: Her?

Harry: No! I meant Allana.

Carmela:  Why what happened?

Harry: She keeps on leaving the party. Do you happen to know where she goes?

Carmela: No. I’m sorry. I’ve been busy looking for Will. Did you see him?

Harry: I did. Over at the pastries table.

Carmela: I should have known. Excuse me.

She left. And turned back.

Carmela: Try asking Brad though.

I nodded.

After a moment, I found Brad with Sam over at their table eating a bunch of cream puffs.

Brad: Hi! Congratulations.

He gave me a man-hug.

Harry: Hi, thanks.

Sam: Where’s Allana?

Harry: That’s what I’m here for. I’m trying to ask you do you know where she is?

Sam: Haven’t seen her since the balcony.

Brad: I think I saw her going to the balcony a while ago.

Harry: About what time?

Brad: About 10 minutes ago.

She’s probably still there.

Harry: Do you know what’s going on with her?

Brad: She gets nervous at times. Which makes her palpitate and all.

Before I could head to the balcony, William stopped me.

William: Why are you in a hurry?

Harry: No reason. Why?

William: Where are you going?

Harry: I think I need some fresh air.

William: You’re headed to the balcony?

Harry: Yeah, for a minute or two. Feeling a little bit claustrophobic.

William: Okay. I like what Allana gave you as a wedding present.

Harry: Yeah, a Jaguar. Excuse me.

I left him.

I was 10 feet away from the balcony entrance when Camilla stopped me.

Camilla: Harry!

Harry: Camilla.

She hugged me.

Camilla: Congratulations!

Harry: Thank you.

Camilla: Where’s Allana?

Harry: In the balcony, getting some fresh air.

Camilla: Ah, see me when she gets back.

Harry: Okay.

I peeked out the balcony. There was Allana, sitting on the bench.

Allana: The moonlight’s beautiful.

I looked at the moon.

Harry: Well, it’s nothing compared to you.

Hold up! Henry, where did that come from? Is what I would have said months ago, but now, I mean it.

Allana smirked.

Allana: Seriously?

Harry: Why not?

Allana smiled.

Harry: Is there something wrong?

I sat next to her. She was playing with the rings on her finger. She frequently inhales and exhales deeply.

She closed her eyes.

Allana: Harry, I have to tell you something. And I think this isn't gonna be good.

Holy shit! She wants a divorce.

But we just got married?!

Like a moment ago.

She gave me a Jaguar.

And she said yes!

And I WILL.

God, the thought just depresses me!

And what if she says it already?!

It will crush me.

To little Harry bits!

Or one big crumpled Harry!

Oh, God.

I wanna cry.

Fold up myself and cry.
