Walang kangiti-ngiti si Thunder habang hinihintay naming bumukas ang elevator. Pati ang mga bumabati sa kanya ay hindi niya tinatapunan ng ngiti o kahit man lang batiin sila pabalik. Bakit ang sungit niya? Well, why did I even ask? He's like this most of the time anyway. Pero iba lang kasi 'yong pagiging masungit niya ngayon, pakiramdam ko ay may ginawa akong mali.

Pagkalabas ng mga empleyado sa elevator ay pumasok na din kami ni Thunder. Dalawa lang kami sa loob. Nakakabingi ang katahimikan at pakiramdam ko ay mayroong linya sa gitna namin na hindi ko pwedeng tapakan.

I hope that one day, he'll put his walls down even just a little bit. I want to know him more. Know everything beneath his beautiful face. I know, I can feel that I like him not because of his pretty face, but because there is something else. There's another reason why there's this strong gravity that keeps pulling me closer to him.

I couldn't take the silence between us anymore. A part of me wanted to say something and so I did.

Humarap ako sa kanya at ngumiti, "Meron ka?" Pabiro kong tanong

"What?" His forehead creased

Mas lalo akong napangiti dahil hindi niya nakuha ang ibig kong sabihin. "Araw-araw yata meron ka" tumawa ako ng mahina sabay bulong "o baka menopausal stage na?"

Sakto namang bumukas ang elevator kaya lumabas agad ako. Mabilis akong naglakad papunta sa desk namin ni Jessica.

"Hi!" Bati ko kay Jess na busy sa pagta-type sa computer

"Hello! Musta ang first day?" Tanong niya, hindi pa rin inaalis ang tingin mula sa computer

"Okay lang masaya" ngumiti ako

"What did you say?"

My heart fell in the pit of my stomach when Thunder leaned in. His forearms were resting on the desk. Our faces were few inches away. I couldn't breathe and it feels like his sucking all my energy.

"Answer me, Sunshine." He ordered, there's something in his voice that made me weak in the knees.

"N-nothing" I stuttered, my heart was beating wildly

"Are you sure?" He raised his left brow "I'm giving you two seconds to repeat what you just said a minute ago"

"Or else?" I tried to stay focused and undistracted by his intense brown eyes.

"You wouldn't want to know, Sunshine" he dangerously whispered. He raised his hand and caressed my cheeks. God knows how much I tried not to close my eyes.

He's so close and I wanted to pull him to me. My eyes dropped to his lips. I wanted his lips on mine. I wanted to feel the warmth and softness of his lips.

I felt the sudden rise of heat on my cheeks. My breathing became ragged and I couldn't control my hand from shaking.

Umayos siya ng tayo at umangat ang isang gilid ng kanyang labi "Don't forget my coffee"

Wala sa sarili kong sinundan siya ng tingin at nang makapasok siya sa kanyang office ay doon ko naramdaman ang sobrang panghihina. Pabagsak akong umupo sa swivel chair.

Damn it! No one has ever made me feel this way. I've never felt this weak around a man or anyone else. Just him. Only Thunder can suck the energy out of my body. I drew a deep breath and tried to regain my composure.

"What the... How?" She asked in a surprised tone

"What?" I whispered

"Pano mo natagalan 'yong ganoon siya kalapit? I would've died right then and there"
