People are literally so mean where I'm from despite the country being a peaceful place. Everywhere I go, I'm being judged for the headscarf I wear and it hurts a lot.
People say I'm weird, odd, different and some think I've lost my mind.
There are bigger problems out there like world hunger and the shortage of medical facilities in the world but people are talking amongst themselves as to why Isha's always covered up or wearing her headscarf.
I swear, every single person in my town just stares whenever I walk by - it makes me want to die.
Everyone just...treats me coldly because of what they assume of me in their heads.
It's hard.
