Mom Gets Home Ch.19

October 3 2016 Tuesday

"David, can you hand me my blanket?" I point to a blanket balled up on his bed and shove a shirt into my bag.

Mom is coming back tonight so I need to pack all my stuff early. She's coming back at 8pm and its 10am.

"Do you need help folding it?" David flicks the blanket so it's spread out across the room.

"Yeah." He helps me fold, when he gives me the blanket he kisses my lips and he smiles. I pull away questioning why he smiled.

"The only reason I offered to help was so I could do that." He keeps smiling and I giggle.

"Thanks anyway."

I keep packing my stuff and David comes behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist and putting his head on my shoulder. I lean forward and his head slips onto my back.

"You have a bony back." His voice is muffled by my shirt.

"Thanks."

David lifts his head back up and I turn around. I put my hands behind my back and David grabs them from behind me.

"Why can't you stay with me?"

"Because I haven't seen my mom in a month, I want to spend time with her."

"Will you visit me?"

"I'm still your girlfriend David I have to hang out with you. And I'll see you at school."

"Yeah but school is so far away! And I'll only see you in between classes and at second period!"

"I think we'll survive babe."

7:36pm

David and I are laying on his bed. I'm sitting in between his legs with my body against his.

"Can you drive me home?" I ask and David shakes his head.

"No."

"Why?"

"Because I don't want you to leave me."

"Sorry baby, I gotta go." I stand up and David pulls me back down.

"Nooooooooooo!" He wraps his arms around me and I squirm.

"Daaaaviiiiid!"

"Fine. I'll drive you." I stand up and pull him up as well.

"Ok." I grab my things and go into the hallway. David slowly walks out to.

"Come on babe it's not like I'm leaving forever."

"K." David grabs one of my bags and walks regularly down the stairs.

We put my bags in the car and start driving to my house. David rolls the windows down and grabs my hand.

"Why are you so sad? I'll see you tomorrow and I'll probably spend the weekend with you."

"I liked when you stayed with me. I got to sleep next to you every night, I got to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday with you, I got to cuddle with you whenever I wanted to, I got to drive you to school everyday, and I got to do this every time I wanted to." David stops at a stoplight and leans over to kiss me. I smile and connect my lips to his.
