I'm laying in my bed watching Netflix from my tv with my leg resting on 4 pillows. Toby has been my 'servant' since I sprained my knee.
"Toooobyyy!" I yell and hear little feet running down the hallway. He swings open my door smiling and runs to me.
"Yeah?"
"Can you get me my water bottle from my backpack downstairs?"
"Yeah!" He starts running out my door but I stop him.
"Wait, can you hand me my phone?"
"Yeah." He walks to my desk and grabs my phone, but stays there.
"What are you looking at Toby?"
"All the pictures of you and Liza."
"What about them?"
"She's really pretty." He brings me my phone and sits next to my side.
"I know. But she's mine." I tickle his side and he screams and laughs.
"David stop it! Ahhhh!!! Stop it!" He stands up and runs away.
"Your lucky I can't run over there!"
"Ha ha!"
"Get my water bottle and you can sit on my bed and watch tv with me." Toby's eyes get wide and he smiles.
"Really!" I nod and he runs downstairs. I wait a few minutes and he comes back with my water bottle filled with ice water.
"Thanks buddy." He puts it on my night stand and crawls into my bed. He lays back and puts his head on my stomach.
He chooses the show and I go on my phone. I text Liza and she responds a few seconds later.

David: Hey
Liza: Hi. Is everything ok?
David: Why wouldn't it be?
Liza: Cause you only text me when you need something
David: A boyfriend can't text the love of his life because he can?
Liza: Said boyfriend could, but you are not that boyfriend.
David: Whatever. Can you come over?
Liza: There it is.
David: Just answer the question.
Liza: I might. What are you doing?
David: Texting you
Liza: Other then that.
David: I'm watching tv with Toby. He's like my servant ever since I broke my knee. He said he feels bad.
Liza: Yeah. I'll come over. Only cause I wanna play with Toby! Not you.
David: And the Girlfriend Of The Year Award goes to.....Liza Koshy!
Liza: Thank you! Thank you! I don't know what I did to deserve this!
David: 😂
