I really have to go talk to Conner. I still can't believe he just randomly kissed me then thought I would get back together with him. He was the worst first boyfriend anyone could ever have. He said we had an 'open relationship' when I didn't want that. I don't like open relationships, if you date someone, stick with that person or just end it. When I dated Conner, I thought he was the best thing that had ever happen to me... for the first day. After the first day he was flirting with other girls, making out with them in the hallway, and taking them out on dates. One time, he asked me to drive him and his date to a restaurant. Who does that? Anyway, I need to get him to go back to Houston and NEVER come back here.

It's around 3 right now and school just got out. I meet David at the bench in front of my last class but he's not there. I usually wait for about 5 minutes and he comes, school has been out for about 10. I walk to David's locker to see if he's there and he's not. I take out my phone and call him.

"What's up babe?" He says, out of breath.

"Where are you? And why do you sound so out of breath?"

"I'm at the basketball courts. Sorry, I forgot to call you once school ended." He says and sighs.

"No it's ok. I'll be over there in like, 15 minutes."

"Why so long?"

"I'm going to go set Conner straight." I say and I hear him chuckle in the background.

"Ok. I'll see you soon. Love you."

"See ya soon. Love you too." I say and hang up the phone. I turn around and Conner is standing a few feet away from me.

"You're going to set me straight?" He says with an eyebrow raised.

"Yes." I put my phone in my back pocket and cross my arms.

"Then do it." He says with a straight face. I take a deep breath and step forward.

"You can come here and you can beg me to come back all you want, I don't care. But you can't just show up, kiss me, and expect me to fall for you. That's not how this works, that's not how love works. And even if did work like that, I wouldn't go back with if you were the last man on earth. You have no idea how terrible you were to me. I don't EVER want to talk to you again. Goodbye Conner." When I say the last two sentences, I take three fingers and poke him in the chest to make my point. I walk past him and I hear him turn around.

"Ok, ok. I won't talk to you. But don't think I don't have a back up plan." He says and I walk faster. I hear the tapping of his shoes on the floor fade away, meaning he went the opposite direction. I walk to the basketball courts to meet David and he's playing ball with Scotty, Alex, and Toddy.

"Oh come on Scotty!" Toddy says as Scotty tries to make a basket, but misses.

"Dave was all on you Todd, if I passed it to you he would have took it." Scott says passing the ball to Alex.

"Yeah I probably would have." David says and smiles. He pushes his hair back so it's not in his face and Alex throws him the ball. He shoots for the basket and it goes in. I see Kristen, Carly, and Erin sitting on the bleachers talking so I walk to join them.

"Hey Liza." Carly says smiling at me.

"Heeeey." Kristen says and giggle at the end.

"Helloooo." Erin says slowly waving.

"Hi." I say and smile.

"We're taking about how Carly and Erin need boyfriends." Kristen says and Erin rolls her eyes.
