I'm going to meet Liza at her locker so I can walk her to Advisory. It's about 1:10pm right now and class starts at 1:16. I see Liza at her locker so I head down the stairs. I get to the last stair and a guy walks behind her. He grabs her wrist and she turns around. He kisses her and she quickly backs away.

He. Kissed. Her.

"What are you doing?!" She says and wipes her mouth with her sleeve.

"Liza, baby, I moved here so we can be together again!" He says and my jaw drops. Liza said she has never had a boyfriend before me. She lied to me?

"I don't want to be with you!" She says and the guy steps closer to her.

"But we were so happy before. We were together for 1 year babe." He says and Liza shakes her head.

"I wasn't happy. And don't call me 'babe', we aren't together." She says and takes a step back. A few people start forming around them, watching.

"You weren't happy? We said we loved each other, we spent so much time together. That ment nothing?"

"You said you loved me. I never said it back, I never loved you, I wanted to leave you from day one. When I moved here it was my chance to leave you." She says and everyone around her yells 'ooooooooh' (I have no idea what the word is... I don't care either)

"But we can restart. I promise I have changed."

"We are NEVER getting back together." She says and walks away. She pushes through the crowd of people and they all make noise again. (Still don't care what the word is.)

She walks in my direction so I run to her. I pull her into an indent in the wall where the water fountain is. She avoids looking at me and looks at the ground.

"Who was that? What was he talking about?" I ask and she keeps looking at the ground.

"Can I tell you at home?" She asks quietly.

"Umm... sure." I say and she looks up at me.

"Thanks." She says quietly and she starts to walk away.

"Wait." I pull her back and she stands close to me.

"What?"

"I love you." I say and she sighs.

"I love you too." She smiles and kisses me. I hold on to her so the kiss goes longer. I only did this because her x-boyfriend was watching. She pulls away and smiles.

"Gotta go." She says and walks away but I pull her back again.

"Babe, class starts in a few minutes, I have to go." She says and I smile.

"We have Advisory." I say and she scoffs.

"Right." She rolls her eyes and kisses me again.

"I'll see you after school." I smile at her and watch her walk away.

"Hey." A deep-ish voice calls from behind me. I turn around and see Liza's x-boyfriend.

"Hi." I put my hands in my pockets and he walks closer to me. He stands about a foot away and glares at me.

"Your Liza's boyfriend?" He says in an annoyed voice.

"Why do you say that?" I ask and he scoffs. Of course I know the answer, I just want to hear him say it.

"Don't play that card, I saw you making out with her before she left." He rolls his eyes and I hold back a smile.

"Why does it matter to you?" I ask and he stands closer to me.
