It's about 2pm and David and I just finished lunch. We put the cart and all the dishes in the hallway for the person to come get. David is slowly walking around looking at all the details of the hotel. I'm sitting at the little table looking at things to do on my phone.
"Lets go do something." I stand up from my seat and David turns around to face me.
"Like what?" He asks and I shrug.
"I don't know."
"I was looking at things we could do here before we left LA. There's lots of stuff to do at Pier 39." He puts his hands in his pant pockets and slowly walks to the window.
"Pier 39?" I say and he takes out his phone.
"This place." He shows me a bunch of pictures of Pier 39 and I take his phone out of his hands. (Pictures of places they will go and just pictures of Pier 39 at the top of the page.)
"Wow. That looks cool!" I say and keep scrolling through some pictures.
"Then let's go!" He takes his phone from me and smiles.
At Pier 39
"Omg! So many seagulls!" I say as we get out of the car. There are so many seagulls on the ground and up in the sky.
"Where do you want to go first?" David asks and I look around.
"The aquarium." I say and he nods.
"Ok." He grabs my hand and we walk to the ticket booth.
"Hi, welcome to the Bay area aquarium! How many tickets?" The girl says and smiles at me.
"Two please." David and I say at the same time. I glare at him and he smiles.
"Sorry." He says looking scared, I know he's faking it though. I roll my eyes and the girl gives us our tickets. David pays for them and we go inside.
"Omg! Look at the cute little fishy!" I point to a cute, little, red fish and David smiles.
"Yeah." He says and we walk into a hallway type thing where we can see the fish swimming over us.
"Oh my god! Look at that one!" I point to a big, flat, gray fish and David slowly shakes his head.
"Are you gonna do that the whole time?" He asks and I smile.
"No. But I haven't been to an aquarium since I was 7!" I say and David grabs my hand again.
"Lets go to the touch pool. I know your 18 now and might think it's lame but I wanna touch a sting ray." He says and I giggle.
"I wanna touch a sting ray!" I look at a fish that looks like nemo and I smile.
"Oh my god." David says looking up. I look up and see a really big fish swim over us. I look at a group of little fish and they all break away. Two stay together and they swim side by side.
"Aww! Those to like each other!" I point to the fish that are swimming next to each other and David smiles.
"Aww. Let's go to the touch pool!" He says and I giggle.
