Library Visits and Jealous Girls Ch.54

It's around 3:30pm and I'm at the school library. After school I just went straight here, I need to study for the math test thats coming up.

I'm trying to focus on studying but my eyes keep wondering around the room. My eyes land on a group of girls that look like juniors and there's 4 of them. One of them looks at me and smiles. I smile back and she starts talking to her friends. They all look at me then whisper and point their fingers. I trying to study but my eyes keep going back to the girls. I really want to know what they're talking about. A few moments later, David walks into the library and looks over at me. He smiles and walks to the table I'm at.

"Hey princess." He kisses my cheek and sits next to me. I glance up at the girls and one of them is blushing as the other girls tease her.

"Hey."

"What are you doing?" He asks and takes my pencil from the hand.

"Trying to study." I take it back and he smiles.

"Stop studying and let's go have some fun." He says and I look over at him.

"No, babe. I need to study for this. I haven't been studying because I've been with you, so my grades have been slowly going down." I say and he nods.

"Yeah me to. I'm glad my mom hasn't looked at my grades, they're not so good." He says and I slide my math book to him.

"Help me." I say and he smiles. He takes my pencil and draws a heart in the corner of the page. He writes 'L+D=♡' and I almost died of silent laughter. I can't laugh loud or else everyone will stare and I'll get in trouble.

"No, babe, no. Don't be cringy." I say and grab the pencil from his hand. I erase the heart and he frowns.

"You erased the proof that I love you." He says frowning and I smile.

"Stop it! Don't be cringy!" I say and he smiles.

"I'm not cringy. I just love you." He smiles a cheesy smile and I giggle.

"You are cringy, but I love you too." I kiss him and I glance over at the group off girls again. They roll their eyes but one girl smiles.

"Lets go somewhere and have some fun." David says and I shake my head.

"Bubba, I just told you, I have to study for the math test." I say and he groans.

"Can you study later?" He asks with puppy dog eyes.

"No. I have to study more because I don't get this lesson and I need to." I say and put my arms on the table then my head in my arms.

"Baby, how do you not get this lesson? It's easy, look." He says and I lift my head up.

"Hmm?"

"All you do is distribute the 4 to the 5x and the -8x. Then you subtract the 40 from the 36x. Get it?" He explains and I shake my head.

"Babe, I don't get any of this." I whine and put my head back on my arms.

"You will." He continues explaining it to me but I just don't understand it. After about 10 minutes, I give up and slam my math book closed, making David jump.

"Its no use. Math isn't my strong point, I'll just call Gabbie later, we have the same class so she can help." I say and start to put my things away. David takes the book from my hand and puts it back on the table.

"Nope. I don't want you to have bad grades. How will you get into a good collage when you have bad grades?" He says and opens the book to the page we were just at.
