Six months Ch.39

Today is mine and David's six month anniversary. Last night, I made sure David didn't plan anything because I wanted to. On our one month anniversary, he made the plans so it's my turn. I'm planning on taking him out to eat at a restaurant that has a beautiful view of the ocean. Then we're going down to the beach and we're gonna take some artsie photos with my camera. It's going to be amazing, especially because I hired someone to take the pictures for us. Nothing starts until 5pm but I need to make sure David has something to wear. (Picture above is both of their outfits.)

It's about noon right now and David is making us lunch in the kitchen. He's making BLTs (bacon, lettuce, and tomato) and the bacon smells amazing. I'm sitting at the dining room table waiting for the food to be done.

"Ow! Jeez." David says taking a step away from the stove.

"What happen?" I ask and he turns around.

"The oil from the bacon hit my hand and burnt me." He walks to me and shows me where the oil hit.

"There's nothing there. I think your ok." I say and kiss his hand. He nods and walks back go the stove, finishing the bacon.

"Get a plate and come here." He says gesturing me over. I stand up and get a plate out of the cupboard. He puts down the bread, then the bacon, then the tomato, then the lettuce.

"Thank you." I quickly kiss his cheek and walk back to my seat.

"No problem." He says and puts the rest of the bacon on a plate. He assembles his sandwich and sits with me at the table. I already finished half of mine when he sits down and when he sees how much I've eaten, he smiles.

"Is it good?" He says still smiling and I nod. I cover my mouth with my hand to respond.

"Really good." I smile and he takes a bite of his sandwich.

4:30pm

"Come on babe!" I say smiling and trying to get him out the door.

"Where are we going?" He asks turning around.

"I told you, it's a surprise." I turn him back around and push him out the door.

"Fine." He says and we walk to the car.

"I'm gonna have to blind fold you." I pull out a bandana to wrap around his eyes and he shakes his head.

"No!"

"I promise I'm not going to do anything bad. I'm just taking you somewhere." I say innocently and he gives in.

"Ok. I'm trusting you Liza."

"You should." I put the bandana around is eyes and wave my hand front of his face.

"It's to dark."

"I think you'll live. Can you see anything?" I keep waving my hand in front of his face and he doesn't react to it.

"No."

"Perfect." I start the car and start driving to the fancy restaurant.

"Babe, please tell me where we're going."

"That will ruin the surprise."

"Fine."

We drive the rest of the way to the restaurant and I jump out of my seat when we park. I run around to the other side and open David's door. I press my lips against his and he immediately kisses back.

"Why did you kiss back so quickly?" I say and he shrugs.

"I knew it was you."

"How?"
