Solving The Confusing Break Up Ch.30

David's P.O.V

I drop Liza off at Gabbie's and quickly drive to Zane's house. I get out of the car and walk up to his door. I pound my fist on the door and he opens it a few seconds later.

"What's the matter with you?" I say with a straight face and he tilts his head.

"What are you talking about?"

"You and Gabbie."

"Oh. Yeah, it's whatever." He says and starts so close the door. I stop him and he glares at me.

"Your joking."

"I'm not joking David."

"Zane, I'm going to slap you."

"Why?"

"You have no idea how much pain Gabbie is in because of you. And all you have to say is whatever?"

"Why is she in pain?"

"She loved you. And you just broke her heart." I start to walk away and Zane grabs my rist.

"I broke her heart?"

"Yeah. I just dropped Liza off with her to calm her down." Zane's expression softens and he pulls me inside. We go to the living room and I sit while Zane paces back and forth.

"What have I done David? I have made a huge mistake and I have no idea how to get her back."

"I don't know."

"She's not gonna take me back, is she?"

"I don't know."

"She's not gonna take me back. She'll be mad and then hate me forever."

"Why did you break up with her in the first place?"

"Because I can't give her the love she wants and needs. I can't juggle school, a relationship, work, and my family! But I need to."

"Trust me when I say Gabbie will help you. She might not be able to do anything about work but she will help you with everything else."

"You might be right but she won't take me back."

"She will." I stand up and stop him from pacing.

"How do you know?" He sits on the couch and I sit next to him.

"I'll work it out." I stand up and Zane does to.

"Ok. Go help Liza." He says and gives me a hug. I nod and hug him back.

"Liza and I will get everything back in order, I promise." He nods and I walk back to my car. I call Liza and she picks up a few seconds later.

"Hey babe." She says and takes a deep breath.

"Hey. Is Gabbie ok?"

"Yeah. Did you kill Zane?"

"No. But trust me when I say I wanted to. I got him in order and I understand why he did what he did."

"Come over here. I want you to talk to her." She says and I start the car.

"I'm on my way. But why?"

"You know the situation better then I do. Explain to her why he did what he did." She says and I nod.

"Ok, I'll be over in a few. Love you."

"I love you to." She hangs up and I drive over to Gabbie's house. I knock on the door and Liza opens it. She steps out and closes the door.

"Honestly, she's a mess." She says and smiles. But not a smile like it's funny, a smile like she feels bad for her.
