(Emilys POV)
The twins had a pretty good night last night. They only woke up twice to feed and have their diapers changed. I don't know how I ever lived my life before them and Ali. They're the best things in my lives.
Just then, I hear Asher crying...
I get up and go to the little baby cots that the hospital provides. I'm still in slight pain but they're worth it.
"Hey buddy." I say in a nurturing voice as I caress his little face.
"Oh, you are so cute. I can't believe I created you. Yeah..." I say in a baby voice.
Then, I feel a pair of arms wrap around me from behind.
"Good morning love." I hear Ali say.
"Good morning. How did you sleep?" I ask her.
"Good, what about you?" She asks
"Okay, they only woke up twice to feed and change diapers." I said.
"Oh, well I'm going to help you get them ready for today. The girls are coming at noon to meet the babies." Ali says.
"Okay, let's get breakfast." I suggest.
"I'll run to Starbucks and get us some muffins and coffee since you can have it now." Ali says.
"Finally." I say with a chuckle.
"Okay, I'm going to go." Ali says.
"Be good for your mama, babies. I love you." Ali says while kissing Asher in my arms and Lily whose in her cot.
"I love you too." She says and gives me a kiss on the lips.
"I love you." I say.
Then Ali leaves to get food. A nurse comes in and checks the babies and I and sees how I'm recovering postpartum. I'm doing pretty good. Apparently better than most people. Asher weighs 5lbs and 6oz 18 inches long and Lily is 5lbs and 9oz and 19 inches long. They're perfection. The nurse also had to give them a few tests before we can leave the hospital tomorrow. Then the nurse leaves just as Alison comes back.
"I got food." She says in a sing-song~note.
"Me too." I mock as I feed Lily.
"Are you going to wait till you're done feeding to eat?" She chuckles as I rip the Starbucks bag from her hands and grab my muffin.
"No. Mama's hungry." I say and chuckle.
"So is mommy." She says and then we eat.
"Al? Lily is done feeding, can you take her and give me Asher? He hasn't eaten yet." I ask
"Yeah, hold on." Ali says sweetly and gently grabs Lily from me and then gets Asher who ratchets on right away and starts feeding.
"The girls are going to be here in a few, I'm going to get Lily and Asher dressed." Ali says.
"Okay, can we dress them in their blue and pink and stripe outfits?" I ask.
"Of course." Ali says.
Once the twins are dressed all of the girls come in with balloons and flowers.
"Hey guys, thank you." I say.
"Hey everyone." Ali says.
They all respond high a "Hey" or a "hi." And wall themselves over to the babies.
"No. No touching. Not until you wash your hands." Ali says sternly.
"Ugh, you're going to be one of those moms." Hanna says.
"Just go wash you hands." Ali says chuckling.
After the girls wash their hands they ask to hold the babies. Spencer is holding Asher and Hanna is holding Lily.
"What're their names?" Aria asks
"Lily and Asher." I say
"Beautiful." Hanna swoons
"You okay Han?" Ali asks.
"Yeah, they're just so gorgeous." Hanna says.
"Thanks" Alison and I say in unison.
"I can't believe you guys didn't tell us that there was two babies this whole time." Spencer chuckles
"Haha, Spence you know we wanted to see your surprised faces. But you didn't even react." I say.
"That's because Jessica told me and I told the girls last night." Spencer says
"I knew she couldn't keep a secret." Ali says.
"Oh well. What are we going to do..." I shrug
"Okay, I'll give Aria a turn now." Hanna says and gently hands Lily to Aria
"Oh my gosh." Aria says in amazement.
"Ohh look at your little lips and oh my gosh your blonde hair. You look so much like your mommy." Aria says
"That's what I was saying but Emily doesn't see it." Ali says
"I'm sorry, I don't." I say chuckling.
"You'll see it soon enough." Aria says.
"We'll see." I say
A few hours pass and the girls go home and Ali and I relax for a little. I feed the babies and Ali grades papers and we watch a movie on the iPad cuddled in my hospital bed.
"I hate grading papers. I love everything about my job except grading papers. Tomorrow is the last day though. I'm going to have to miss because we bring them home tomorrow. Then summer vacation starts." Ali says.
"I cant wait. Then we get to be home all day with these ones." I say kissing each of our babies heads.
"Me too. I love them so much!" Ali says.
The twins are done feeding so Ali helps me and we have the nurses teach us how to correctly bathe the babies and then we put them into footie pajamas and lay them down to go to sleep. Ali and I then grade the rest of her students papers while watching mean girls on her iPad.
"I'd say Regina is my favorite character. I like that she's a queen bee in the beginning and at the end of highschool, she turns nice." I say.
"Does that remind you of someone?" Ali says with a smirk.
"You did a complete turn around after highschool. Who would've thought Alison DiLaurentis would marry a girl? Become a mom? Become a teacher? I love that you've become more compassionate. I love you with my whole heart Ali, don't you ever forget that." I say say while looking into her eyes.
"I love you too. And our babies. Nothing can compare to you guys." She says and then kisses my lips passionately.
"Goodnight." I say.
"Bonne nuit." She says and then we both fall asleep cuddled in my hospital bed.
