(Ali POV)
I feel a little bump on my back and an arm overwound my waist and I wake up. It's Emily. And the bump is the baby. She's still asleep so I kiss her gently on the forehead trying not to wake her.
I get out of bed and go into our hotel bathroom. I brush my teeth, take a shower, get dressed, then I dry my hair and put it in a low ponytail.
"Good morning Babe." I say.
"Good morning." She says and then brushes her teeth and then
kisses my lips.
I drop to my knees and look at her baby bump.
"Good morning baby. Mommy loves you. And so does your mama." I say looking at Emily.
"So who's mommy and who's mama?" She asks.
"Whoever you want it to be I guess." I say.
"I want to be mama." She said.
"Good. Because I want to be mommy." I say.
I hug her and then she proceeds to get ready for the day.
An hour later...
"Babe, it's almost time to go eat. I made reservations at a restaurant called Drifters. We need to be there by 10:00 am and it's 9:33am we have to go." I say.
"Okay, just give me two minutes." She says.
"For?"
"I'm using the restroom." She says.
Oh the joys of pregnancy.
She comes out a minute and a half later.
"Okay lets go."
And with that, I grab her hand and we go to the rental car.
We get to the restaurant and a waitress brings us to a booth. This restaurant is ocean themed and I really love it.
"I can't believe you're already 6 months along." I say, baffled.
"Me neither. This pregnancy was so easy." She says.
"Yeah. For the few weeks I was pregnant, it was anything but easy." I say.
"Everyone is different. But for the next one, do you want to carry it?" She asks.
"Sure." I say. And with that, we sit in a comfortable silence looking at houses.
"We should move to Wisconsin." I say.
"You think so?" She says.
"Yeah, it's really quiet there." I say.
"Sure. Is it safe?" She asks.
"Yeah. I did lots of checks on it. Not much crime. Small jail." I say.
"Well that's good." She says.
"So, Wisconsin?" I ask.
"Yeah. Our child can be a 'cheese head." She says and I laugh.(A/N: no, I do not live here but I've visited a ton of times and it's so beautiful so that was my inspiration.)
"Why is it called that?." I ask.
"They make most of the U.S.'s dairy products." She says.
"Oh." I say.
"It's cool." She says.
"Yeah." I say.
Just then, a waitress makes her way over.
"Are you guys set to order?" She asks.
