(Emily POV)
Today is Valentine's Day. I have a romantic night with Ali planned.
Ali is asleep next to me so I'm going to get up and make her breakfast in bed.
I get up and get dressed real fast just into some sweats for the morning and then tie up my hair.
I go to the kitchen and make Ali some heart-shaped pancakes, with lots of maple syrup for her to dip it in on the side.
Then I make her some bacon. After that, I clean some strawberries, and cut up some pineapple. After I cut up the fruits, I put them on short sticks and dip them in the chocolate for her to eat because I know she loves them.
I then call Spencer.
"Hello?" She asks in a groggy morning voice.
"Hey, did you get them?" I ask.
"Get what—ohh, yeah. You're all set for tonight." She says.
I can basically hear her wink on the other side of the phone.
"Yes! Thank you Spence, you're the best." I say.
"Check the back porch. They're there. And the other thing is at the lake. Toby set it up last night. It's connected to a button, all you have to do is push it. The controller is in the glove box of your car." She says.
"Thank you so much! I don't know how I'll ever repay you!" I say.
"Chocolate is fine." She says.
I giggle and let her go.
Then I go to the back porch to receive the flowers I asked Spencer to get me for Ali.
They're a beautiful assortment of white, pink, and red roses.
I put all of her breakfast onto a tray and put the flowers in my left hand behind my back.
When I get upstairs, Ali is sprawled out on her stomach and is scrolling through her social media while her phone is connected to the charger. I can't help but stare at her ass. She's so beautiful. So so beautiful.
"Knock, knock." I say lightly as I enter the room with a big smile on my face.
"Hi, good morning." She says as she sits up and faces me.
"I made you breakfast in bed." I say and set the tray on her lap as she gets situated.
"Awh, Em, I told you to do anything romantic. I feel so bad, i didn't get you much." She says.
"It's okay, you deserve this." I say.
"Thank you." She says with a smile as she digs in.
"You're welcome." I say and kiss her cheek.
"Where are the kids, Em?" She asks.
"They were still asleep when I checked on them. I'll go check on them again though, it's been a minute." I say.
"Okay." She says as she eats.
I check on the babies.
I go to Asher's room first, he's still sound asleep. He usually wakes later, around 9:30-10:00A.M.
Lily is the complete opposite, she wakes pretty early. Around 8:30A.M.
I walk into Lily's room, and as if on cue...
"Mama!" She squeals as she reaches her arms out towards me with a giant smile plastered on her face.
I smile and pick her up, putting her on my hip.
