"Testin Her"

Caitlin’s POV

“We’re dating.” He blurted out.

My eyes widened and my body was going a little numb.

He did it. He told them; them as in all his mahomies and our friends. Everyone knows. I can’t go back now.

“Okay, I’ll see you guys later.” Austin said making a heart to his mahomies before he signed off of ustream and stopped streaming. I excluded myself from the group as much as I could, but Austin just kept trying to pull me in front of his computer. I declined it as much as I could. I was still trying to process this. It’s a BIG change. I still don’t know how I feel about him. I hate him on some days, but others he is like my best friend. And today is one of those ‘best friends’ days, so we just have to wait and see what he’ll be like tomorrow.

“We got it over with.” Austin spun around in his chair.

“I still can’t believe it.” Robert shook his head.

“Get use to it.” Austin replied smiling at me. He has been saying that a lot lately.

“I’m going to go home.” I stood up.

“I’ll bring you.” Austin stood up too.

I nodded and walked out the door with Austin.

“That was the hardest thing I’ve ever done.” I let out a big breath right as the door closed.

He chuckled and said, “You need to do this for a while, you know.”

“I know, I know.” I smiled.

“Tomorrow…Are you doing anything?” Austin asked standing in my doorway.

“Nope.”

“I have an award show…And you kind of have to be my date.” He smiled innocently.

“Is that your way of asking me?” I laughed.

“Yes. So what do you say?”

“Well, I don’t think I have a choice.”

“Exactly.” He winked. I rolled my eyes and tried to close the door. He put his foot in front of the door stopping it and he also placed his hand on the door.

He wrapped and arm around my waist and pulled me under the doorway with him, and I was pulled into him as well.

“I’ll pick you up tomorrow at eight.” He smiled.

Then I did something completely out of the ordinary when I’m with Austin.

I blushed.

Why am I even happy about this? Hello! He is in your rivalry gang! His gang is after you, and just the fact that he is in a gang. This boy has dragged you along the horrible journey with him. Don’t let him take advantage of you. You can’t fall for him. Not again, not ever, no. Just no.

He let go of me with the little smile on his face and walked away.

I went up to bed and dropped back on the bed thinking about Austin and the whole dating thing.
