"She Knows Something"
Caitlin’s POV
“Oh my god!” Austin ran his hands down his face and walked in a circle. “He spiked your drink! Now get in the f*cking car before I put you in there myself!” He screamed and I ran off to the car.
I made it to the door and turned around to look back at them.
I looked just in time to see Cam punch Austin right in the stomach.
“Cam!” I yelled and ran over to Austin who was hunched over.
“Get in the car.” Austin spoke quietly.
“What? No, not now.”
“For f*cks sake Caitlin.” He groaned, stood up, and hit Cam square in the jaw which pushed him to the ground.
Austin smirked as Cam fell.
“What are you doing?!” I yelled and ran to Cam. I helped him to his unstable feet.
“I came here to save your sorried ass, that’s what I’m doing.” Austin glared at me.
“I asked Robert. Why are you here?” I said helping Cam up.
“He told me.”
“And why did you come? You have that award show tonight right?”
“Ya…” He trailed off. Does he care that much?
I stood there and looked at him.
“Are you coming or not?” He said clearly annoyed and gestured to his car on the curb.
I didn’t answer he was pissing me off right now. Cam is just standing there trying to stop his bloody nose.
“Let’s go clean this up.” I grabbed Cam’s arm and Austin’s jaw dropped.
“What are you doing?” He didn’t move.
“Staying. I feel better.”
“Caitlin it’s not safe.” He started to follow us.
“She can do what she wants.” Cam butted in again.
“You can pass out any second now.”
“How would you know?”
“My drink has been spiked before, trust me.” He raised an eyebrow at me.
“Just go back to your award show.” I said and disappeared into the crowd.
We got to a bathroom in the house and I helped him clean his nose, and it stopped.
“It’s just the alcohol kicking in Caitlin. I didn’t mean to do that. I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay.” I smiled and we went back down stairs.
“What the hell?” Cam said at the top of the stairs.
“What?” I looked over the railing of the staircase and could now see what he saw.
People were screaming and scrambling to get out of the house.
“Let’s go.” Cam grabbed my hand and led me down the stairs. Mostly everyone was outside now, for whatever reason.
“What’s going on?” Cam asked someone in front of us, also trying to get out.
