Caitlin’s POV 

   

They took down their hood.

“Oh my god.” I covered my mouth.

“What the hell are you doing here?” Dave whisper yelled.

“Me? What about you? I thought you were in jail!”

“Shhh!” He covered my mouth. “I was bailed out.” He removed his hand.

“By who?!”

“Stop speaking loudly.” He whispered.

I rolled my eyes. I know Dave and he knows me. I can roll my eyes at him. It’s almost like a father daughter relationship, but not at the same time…Then again he tried to kill me many times…Not the point.

“Why are you here?” I folded my arms and asked him.

“I’ll tell you when you tell me.” He folded his huge arms too.

I groaned. “I was kidnapped by Cam and now I’m stuck here for a few days until this big mission. And I think this is it.” I pointed at the floor indicated the time, as in right now.

“Mission…I’m here to come get the hostage…That’s you, isn’t it?” He connected the dots.

I just shrugged.

“You seem out of it.” He said.

“Well I’m freaking kidnapped for the hundredth time!”

“Stop yelling!”

“You’re yelling!”

He turned around and started pacing with fists.

“Listen.” He came back to me and pointed his big finger at me. “We came to get you for one reason. You know something about your mother.”

“My mom? She’s…She’s dead.”

“I can’t talk about this now or I might ruin everything. Just come with me.”

“No.”

“So you want to stay here?”

“No…”

“Choose or I’ll-“

“Hey!” Cam came in through the door.

They both pointed guns at each other.

“Stop!” I ran in between the guns with my hands up. They both slightly lowered the guns and stared at me.

“Move your ass out of my way!” Cam yelled.

“Get the hell away from this Caitlin!” Dave yelled right after Cam.

“Can someone just tell me what everyone wants from me?! What is this stupid secret that I somehow know?! How do both you know it but I don’t? And Dave how have you known for so long?” I said.

“We want answers.”

“To what?!”

“The secret.”

“Oh my god! You know what?!”

“What?” They both said curiously in unison.

“If I answer some of your damn questions can I go home?!”
