Caitlin’s POV

    

“Oh my god! I’m so sorry Dr. Dallas!” I said grabbing his hand and he helped me up. I applied to the biggest hospital in Miami, since I went to school to be a nurse, and Dr. Dallas was the doctor who interviewed me. That was a few weeks ago. Even though his name sounds old, he is only four years older than me, so he is 27.

He laughed, “Its fine.”

“Are you one break or something?” I asked pointing to his attire. We were near the hospital, so I could expect him to be on his break.

“Ya, but I was actually heading to your place.” He smiled his perfect white teeth.

(Just letting you know Dr. Dallas is Cameron Dallas.)

“Oh…Why?” I asked pulling out the one headphone that was in my ear.

“I was going to put this letter in your mail box.” He handed me a letter from the hospital.

I looked at the white envelope with my name on it in my hands. I looked up at him and he nodded his head, gesturing to open the letter.

My hands shook a little as they ripped the paper to reveal a letter.

   

Dear Caitlin Sparks,

                We are proud to announce that you have been accepted to the hospital staff. You are now one of the nurses on our emergency room staff. Congratulations! We will be expecting you to attend your first day of work at eight am to four pm on January 2nd. You will have an hour and a half break at some point in the day. When you arrive on the second we will give you everything you need. You will just need to pick up some scrubs for work. We are excited to have you as part of the emergency room nurse staff! See you on January 2!

“Oh my god!” I looked up at him and he had this smile on his face, like he already knew.

“Congrats.” He smiled.

“Thank you so much Dr. Dallas!”

“You can call me Cam from now on. I have to get going, but I’ll see you soon.”

“Thanks again and Merry Christmas.” I said as he flashed me one more smile and we both turned around.

I started jogging back home with a huge smile on my face. I actually have been walking and running around Miami for a few hours.

I stopped on my way home and got some Chipotle and then walked back home. I got back around one pm with the letter in my hands. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a drink. On the counter there was a note.

  

Just went to the gym with the boys. Be back soon. Love you.

  

I didn’t have to think twice about who wrote it. And anyways, I could recognize Austin’s chicken scratch anywhere.

I guzzled a bottle of water then went upstairs to take a shower.
