"The Impact"

*This chapter won't make sense unless you read Chapter 58-"Just The Beginning" in "The Bad Boy", my other story*

Caitlin’s POV

My eyes slowly opened. And to my surprise I was in a very nice room. It was a very modern, chic styled room. It looked like an empty bedroom to me. And it looked expensive too.

There was a big window, but I could see out because it was the middle of the night and it was dark out. I got the time from the DVD player on the dresser with the TV resting on top of it, the flat screen TV. There was a queen sized bed with a white comforter and it was overflowing with fancy pillows. And to top it off there were white Christmas lights strung around the room, which lit up the dim room.

I was so shocked of how the room looked so nice I didn’t even realize what I was sitting on. I was on a nice black couch that was surprisingly very comfortable. I stood up immediately and walked to the door remembering that I had no idea where I was. It was locked. Great.

I turned around and searched my pockets for my phone.

Nope. They took it.

I ran over to the windows.

Nope. I don’t even think they open. They were also tinted…Should I be scared?

I walked over to what looked like a closet. The sliding doors of the closet were exactly like my old closet back home, with the mirror doors. I slid the door open and gasped.

The closet was filled with the cutest clothes I had ever seen. Literally I could wear a different outfit everyday of the year without wearing the same piece of clothing twice if I had this amazing wardroom.

“Pretty nice right?”

A girl’s voice asked from behind me. I whipped my pony tail around, because it was still up, and looked at the girl standing in the doorway. I didn’t even hear her come in.

“Sydney?”

“Yup.” She came in and closed the door. “We need to talk. How have you been?” She asked sitting down on the couch.

I walked over to the bed and sat on the end of it.

“Good?…Where am I and what’s going on?” I asked staring at her.

Honestly I couldn’t care less about that stupid lap dance she gave Austin a few years ago. That’s in the past and Austin is gone and long out of my life. Although he came back, I’m not planning on associating with him anytime soon. He can visit my grandma, but I don’t want to be part of it. Frankly I’m done with him. Just done. He isn’t like he use to be…He’s different and not a good different.

“Its fine you are safe and I told everyone about you already so no one will hurt you.” She assured me.

“Safe? Everybody? What-“

“Just listen and I’ll explain.” She interrupted me. I just nodded and she explained everything.

“You’re independent, brave, bold, and strong. You were the complete opposite of that in high school, but now…Now you’re different.”

“And?” I asked.

“And I’m part of a gang now.”

“A gang?” I was shocked, but not at all at the same time.
