Caitlin’s POV

  

“Austin talk.” I said finally breaking the awkward and intensified silence. He hasn’t talked much since the little accident we had. I was trying to forget the fact that some car had pushed our car off the road.

“Sorry.” He signed and grabbed my hand and skimmed his thumb over my hand again and again.

“We’re going home and getting ready. You have a reservation with me.” He said glancing at me and smirking.

“Where?”

“Not saying yet.”

“Fancy though right?”

“Very fancy.” He said squeezing my hand.

“I can’t wait to see what you’re wearing.” I smiled.

“You and me both babe.” He smiled, but kept his eyes on the road.

“And no peeking at any presents. I put all mine under the tree.”

“I thought you were working at the studio!” I let go of his hand laughing. “Don’t tell me you went last minute Christmas shopping.” I smirked and glared at him.

He laughed nervously.

I soon joined in.

“I went to the mall, got some things, and then there was a wrapping station, so I waited as they wrapped the gifts. Then I went home and wrapped the presents I had already bought.”

All my Christmas presents had been wrapped and perfectly placed under the tree days ago.

“Why were you on the highway already?”

“I was picking up some coffee and a bagel. But after I got the call I went to you first…Obviously.” We both laughed.

When we got home we both rushed up to separate rooms to get ready.

I first started up my curling iron and plugged it in. I curled my hair, the brushed it out to create a wavy look, but it was still curly at the same time. I brought it to one side and used a diamond studded pins in the back of my head to keep it to that side. Then hair sprayed it lightly. I could curl my hair and even without hairspray it could stay for like three days, but just to be safe.

Then it was make up time. I put on my face makeup, and then added a slight smokey eye, but it was very subtle. It was only really visible when I closed my eyes and if someone was close to me. The point is, is that it was perfectly subtle.

Then to set off the look I finished my eyelashes and added a coat of red lipstick. It was actually a lip stain, so it would stay on all night.

I put the tube in my clutch though, just in case.

I put in a few diamond earrings and added my favorite bracelets.

I found a very special bracelet in the back of one of my makeup drawers, where it shouldn’t be, and was over excited I found it.

I added it to the collection of bracelets on my arm.

Then the dress, or skirt, and the top next.

I slipped them on over my underwear and special bra, so it wouldn’t be seen through the back of the top.

I smoothed it out and looked in the mirror.
