"Let The Game Begin"

Austin’s POV

“What time is it?” She asked once we got our bags and were walking to the exit doors of the airport.

“Uh…” I took out my phone. I saw a text message from Rocco, telling me to call him, along with three missed calls from him. “Seven.”

“Okay, I’m going to go to the bathroom before we leave.”

“I’ll be right here.” I waved her goodbye and dialed Rocco’s number.

“Austin.” He answered quickly.

“What’s up?”

“The whole fake dating thing isn’t working out. We thought it would bring you much more attention, but it didn’t so you two can stop acting like you’re dating.” He told me.

Wait…I can take this chance.

“Uh well actually we are kind of dating now. For real. So we will be together.” That was a complete lie.

“Oh okay then. Congrats.”

“And you said only you, TC, and my mom knew about the fake dating thing?”

“Ya.”

“Okay thanks.”

“Wait, Austin.”

“What?” I put the phone back up to my ear. I saw Caitlin walking back towards me.

“You might need to fake date a celebrity some other time, so make sure Caitlin is aware of that.”

“Uh okay. Got to go. Bye.” I hung up quickly.

“Hi.” She smiled.

“The car is ready.”

“Let’s go then.” I nodded.

I gave her a weak smile. Good, she didn’t ask about the phone call. So me and Caitlin aren’t dating…yet.  We aren’t dating, not fake nor real anymore. Rocco, my mom, and TC were the only ones who knew it was fake. The world thinks it’s real. So if I can get Caitlin to keep fake dating me, maybe she will really date me soon and this problem will be blown away.

I just have to keep her away from Rocco, TC, and hardest of all, my mom. Caitlin knows they know that it was fake and if they bring up us really dating my game plan will be ruined.

So yup. This is my plan.

My Game Plan.

Caitlin’s POV

I was shaken awake.

“What? What?” I asked and looked around me. I was still in the fancy car that was bringing us to the Cape. The last thing I remember is falling asleep on Austin’s shoulder. Now he is standing in the side of my door shaking me awake.

“Were here.”

I looked behind him. There was a huge house on the beach behind him. It was also dark too. I caught a quick glance at the clock in the car. It read 10:46pm.

I guess Austin saw because he said, “Bad traffic.”

“Are we staying in there?” I pointed to the house.

“Yup.” He looked behind him and back at me.

“Austin its huge.”

“I know.” He chuckled and grabbed my hand. He helped me out of the car and we walked to the door. “I already brought the bags in.”
